Vincent Said
Vincent said when he first met her
She was quit and odd
but then he got to know her
and fell deeply in love

Vincent said he loved her
but she was scared
She ran as far as she could
but she too realized she was in love

Vincent said he forgave her
but she still was scared
He promised her every thing
but she couldn't let love take effect

Vincent said he would wait for her
She let fear set in and she fled
Someone else caught his attention
She got jealous and ran back

Vincent said it meant nothing to him
but she thought different and couldn't let it go
She was still consumed with fear and fled again
but she gave into love and went back

Vincent said, " This is the last time"
She decided herself that this too was the last time
He proposed to her
but she got cold feet and said, " Not yet"

Vincent said, " We'll wait then"
A month later plans were made again
but once again she got cold feet
and said, " No, this isn't what I want"

Vincent said with a broken heart, " okay"
They waited and waited
Until one day she said, " I'm ready now"
They made plans to get married in March

Vincent said, " I'm not ready"
He said, " I've had enough, my heart is broken"
" I've got to go find myself"
Two days into February he fled himself

Vincent said, " I promise I'll be back"
She believed him with all her heart
Hoping one day he'd come back and they'd get married
She tried so hard to stop him from leaving

Vincent said he had to go
She cried so hard she got sick
He packed his things and hopped into a taxi
Her heart fell apart that day

Vincent said he loved her
and she too loved him
When he came back
It was to late
This odd little girl
Had Run Away

Now she was gone.
no trace left behind
He Wishes now
A place to stay.
