Here is a story I wrote when I was bored! Hope you like it!!
Chapter 1: The Beginning
" Huh...?" Lunei's eyes fluttered open. "What is this...?" She was in a black space. Nothing was in this world... She adjusted her glasses and stood up, stretching.
"Where am I...?" Nobody answered of course. Not like she expected anyone to.
"Lalalalalalalala!" a voice sung out of the nothingness. Suddenly there was a huge flash of light.
When the light cleared, it seemed that she was in some sort of... place. Lunei looked around, blinking in confusion. "Where am I no--" someone screaming cut her off.
"You'll never take me alive, Shark!!!" a girl screamed on the top of her lungs and rammed into poor Lunei sending her flying into a wall.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?!?!?" Lunei cried, lunging at the girl, attempting to strangle her.
"Ah! Gomen! I wasn't looking where I was going!” the girl said worriedly.
The girl had spikey purple hair, blue eyes, and had wolf paws… wait, wha??? Anyway, she wore a purple shirt, black pants, and had a sparkly scarf that looked like stars were woven into the fabric.
“Uh… it’s fine…” Lunei mumbled.
The girl blinked. “You’re new around here, aren’t you…? You don’t look like you know your way around here…”
Lunei blinked. “Yeah… I’m pretty new here…” she admitted. “Uh… could you tell me where I am?”
The girl grinned. “Sure! You’re in the World of Insanity!”
Lunei’s eye twitched. “In…sanity…?”
The girl grinned. “Yup.”
Lunei paled a bit, turning around slowly, then bolted away. “GET ME OUT OF THIS PLACE!!!!” Lunei cried, running towards a huge door that had “Exit” printed in big red letters.
The girl ran after her. “Wait! Come back!!” she called after her. “That’s a—“ SMASH!!! “ –Wall…”
Lunei fell backwards with swirly eyes. “Don’t say I didn’t warn you…” the girl murmured.
Lunei growled. “Don’t rub it in…” the girl blinked when she heard Lunei sniffle. “I just wanna go home…”
The girl smiled a bit, then squatted down next to her. “Hey, it’s alright. I’ll help you find a way out of here.” She said, patting Lunei on the head. “My name’s Pohkii. What’s yours?”
Lunei rubbed her eyes a bit. “My name is Lunei…” she said quietly.
Pohkii grinned. “It’s nice to meet you, Lunei-chan.” She said happily.
Lunei managed to smile a bit. “It’s nice to meet you too.” She said, grinning lightly.
“Pohkii!!” a man with silver hair that was wearing shades ran up to them. He wore a black t-shirt, a gray trench coat, and black pants.
The man picked up Pohkii by the collar of her shirt. “Are you bothering people again, Pohkii?”
Pohkii shook her head. “Of course not, Shark-onii-chan!”
The one called Shark looked down at Lunei. “Sorry if she was bothering you, Miss…”
Lunei shook her head. “She wasn’t bothering me at all.” Lunei assured him.
Shark looked over Lunei for a couple moments. “I see… a newbie…” he murmured. He stared at the torn up clothes that Lunei was wearing, then dropped Pohkii on the ground.
Pohkii yelped. “Ouch! That hurt!!” she whined.
Shark sighed. “We need to get her some clothes or else she’ll freeze to death.”
Pohkii grinned at Shark, then down at Lunei. “Come on! We’re gonna get you some clothes!” she said happily, tugging on her arm.
Lunei blinked at Pohkii, then nodded. “Alright…”
After awhile of following them, they arrived at what looked like a small shop.
“Uh…” Lunei looked around. “Why did this building pop up out of nowhere…?” she asked.
Pohkii shrugged. “Not too sure. They just appear and disappear.” She explained.
Shark sighed. “Ugh… Don’t even try to understand it…” he grumbled.
“Believe me, I won’t…” she muttered.
Pohkii sighed. “Never mind that! Just get in there!” she yelled, shoving Lunei into the shop.
Lunei yelped, flying through the door of the shop and landing on her face. “Ow… that huuuurrrt…!” she whimpered as she stood up, adjusting her glasses.
Blank space again. ~ Great… More nothingness…~ she thought.
”Oops!” a voice crackled through what sounded like a loud speaker. ”Sorry! The settings are off! Do something, Shark!!”
It was Pohkii’s voice.
”Stop yelling at me!! I’m trying!!” Now it was Shark’s voice.
”Here we go! All fixed!!”
Suddenly there was a burst of light and Lunei found herself standing in the middle of a clothing store.
“Well… that was weird…” she murmured.
”Hn! Told you I could fix it…” Shark said through the loud speaker.
Lunei rolled her eyes as Pohkii and Shark argued over the loud speaker and looked around the shop. There wasn’t just clothes…there were also stuffed animals, live animals (not like there was much of a difference), flowers, bracelets, earrings, and, pardon my French, a shitload of of other things.
“Woah…” was all Lunei could say. She shivered lightly at the faint breeze in the room… wait a sec…
“AHHHHHHH!!!! POHKII!! What happened to my clothes?!?!” she cried, hiding in the pile of stuffed animals.
”Sorry… I forgot to tell you about that part…” Pohkii said with an embarrassed laugh.
Lunei growled from the pile of stuffed animals, a giant anime anger vein forming on her forehead. “Grrrrrr… All I wanna do is get out of this insane asylum!! I don’t need crap like this!!” she yelled. “Do you want me to get pneumonia?!”
”You won’t get pneumonia!!” Shark snapped. He then sighed. ”H-hold on a moment…”
Pohkii giggled. ”Awww, Shark’s blushing!!” she squealed.
”I am not, ya liar!”
Lunei at in the midst of this pile of plushies, depression marks floating around her head. “This is hell… I’m in hell… I just know it…” she murmured.
Suddenly a pink robe poofed out of nowhere.
”There!” came Sharks voice from the loud speaker again. ”Put that on!”
“… Hell no! I’m not wearing that pink thing!!” Lunei yelled, burying herself deeper into the pile or plushies.
”Lunei-chan!!” Pohkii whined. “It’s either that or walk around naked!”
Lunei sat in the stuffed animals for a couple moments, then grabbed the pink robe, pulling it on hesitantly.
”Good girl!” Pohkii said happily. ”Now, go get some clothes for yourself.”
Lunei sighed and headed off into the store to look around.
“Hello, meow!” Lunei shrieked, falling over into the stuffed animals again.
“Sorry, meow!” a black kitty plushie purred from on her shoulder.
“Uh… Hello…” Lunei murmured. “Uh… er… who are you exactly…?”
“I’m Sadie, meow! I am the princess of Catland!!” the cat exclaimed.
Lunei get depression marks again. “I-is that so…?” she asked worriedly. The cat nodded. “Yes, meow.”
Lunei sighed faintly. “Well, I guess that’s not so scary. Come on…” she murmured, picking up the cat and placing Sadie on her head.
Sadie blinked. “Mew?”
“You’re coming withme… Help me pick somethings out…” Lunei said quietly.
The cat grinned. “Okay! That’d be great, meow!!!”
Lunei smiled faintly. “Now… let’s look around…”
~~Hours Later~~
Pohkii yawned loudly. “I’m so bored!!” she whined.
Shark twitched. “You said that a couple minutes ago…”
Pohkii shook her head. “Nuh-uh!”
Suddenly the door to the store kicked open, making Shark and Pohkii jump 10 ft into the air.
Lunei walked out of the shop wearing a black button up shirt, dark gray slacks, and black boots. Her black hair fell over her eyes now, shadowing her face slightly. On her back was a leathery bat wing.
Pohkii grinned. “Wow! You look awesome, Lunei-chan!!” she said happily.
Lunei blushed faintly, pushing her glasses up her nose absentmindedly. “Uh… thanks…”
Shark looked her over for a moment, then paused. “What in the world is that?!” he asked, pointing to the cat on her head.
“I’m Sadie! The princess of Catland!!” the feline said in reply.
Shark’s face shadowed and depresson makrs floated around his head. “What the hell…?”
Pohkii grinned. “Well, come on! Lets get going! There’s no time to waste!!” She said, punching the air. “Operation: Get Lunei back to her home starts now!!”
Lunei’s face paled. “This is going to be a long road ahead of us…” she murmured.
“You’re telling me…” Shark replied.
END OF CHAPTER 1!!
