The slight annoyances of a Tiger
Ok, so.... I've come to the conclusion that it annoys me just a tad when I know that people have been reading my Journal and not saying anything... now, for entries like this, that's fine, but my last entry... It almost hurts my feelings that someone or 3 is reading it and not filling it out, especially since I'd do it in a heartbeat for them, and probably have since I can think of the about 4 people that regularly check my Journal... I'd like it, a lot, if SOMEONE would go back and comment the entry, especially so the new comment indicator can start doing its job for me.

Um. My computer is still internetless. I know, I know... I'm working on it xP We are also tvless because DirectTV was being an a*****e to my dad, so it got shut off... We get cable back on Tuesday.

I went on the Discovery bus trip smile It was better than I thought it'd be, though the early mornings sucked MAJORLY. I still stand by that 4 am is not an hour, it doesn't exist... moreover, it is not morning, it is still night because there is no sun at 4 am.

I did learn a lot though... I learned that I could never teach in Charlotte, which I knew, and I also learned that I hate schools like the ones that I went to, with huge class sizes and way too many stuck up white people who think they're better than everyone else. I like smaller schools with diversity or at least something that isn't all cheerleadery... I found a school system that I really likes though... Richmond County. It was a small community, with a fair ammount of diversity, and it just felt right. But yeah. Um. UNCC sucks. They had the most HORRIBLE dorms I've ever seen... the matresses were covered in stains of God knows what... and there was only one working elevator for about 500 people, 400 of which were females, and the elevator only went to even numbered floors on an 11 story building......... Makes sense to me. However, we were fortunate that the male Teaching Fellows were employed and helped us carry our stuff up... And I was only on the third floor, lol.

Westen is by far the best though. We were the only school that was greeted with a huge hug from our director and who's director offered a warm welcome to everyone. What can I say, Jackie is the best. Apparently, a few people wanted to transfer after they saw the campus and how excited we were to be home.

Cause really, WCU is more home than home is. I love it there, being close to everyone and being free. I miss it so much. But yeah. This is how much of a family we are that me an Em, when we got to WCU, were literally bouncing. So was M and a few more in our group. At dinner, since it was T-shirt night, we all pulled a bunch of tables together and had a HUGE mass of purple.

Oh, the first night was great... here's how determined we (me, Em, M, Jonathan, Meghan) were to order a pizza... we spent an hour trying to do it xD Here's the story...

So, NCCU gives us a list of numbers for take out and such. One number is Domino's. We decide, hey, we want pizza. So we call, and since most of us were driven there by our parents or such, we don't have a car. So, if you're on a campusl, the places usually take your phone number and call when they get to the dorm to deliver. Domino's doesn't take out of area area codes... So, we hassle them, and we're like "Come on, there's 500 kids here from out of area, who knows if they might want pizza??" Won't budge. So, we spend about 15 minutes trying to call people witht he right area code. We come up with Kendall. YAY KENDALL! BUT!!! Kendall's in Japan and his phone is off xP So, we call a bunch more people, no deal. Meghan then calls 411 and asks for another Domino's... the person on the other end asks which one, there are several... Meghan says pick one, so we get the first one. No go, too far away. Call back, ask for a Pizza Hut. Closed. Call again, ask for another, just not the first one. Doesn't deliver. Call 411 again. By this point, we just wanted a damn pizza, and we were gonna get one, just to prove a point. Pizza Hut again, say pick a random one, just not the first one... Don't deliver. Call back- Cici's Pizza. CLOSED. So we call again and ask for a Papa John's. Too far away, can't deliver to the college. BUT we get to ask if they know one closer and they give us a number. We finally had a number to get a pizza from! *Halelluja music plays* So, we order and wait another hour for the pizza, but finally get it... I swear, it was the best pizza I've ever eaten in my life.

THAT was awesome, and the funniest thing we did as a group, though there were other interesting conversations and such that are not for repeating on the interent where anyone can read them.

But yeah, it was good times all around smile I love my friends.

And I think that's all I have to report on. NO WAIT!

Gastonia cops suck.

Last night, I went to prom with Jarrett. It was fun, but I liked last year better, cause it was my friends and blah blah blah. But still. There's a lot more to that story about cops, but yeah, needless to say they weren't very nice to us.

And it saddens me that dancing has been reduced to sex out in the open. Really, people, save it for the after party.

Jarrett's sweet, though. The last song, as we were leaving, was Beauty and the Beast, which is sorta our song ^_^ I was touched. I really son't deserve him sometimes... Ok, most of the time xP

Anyway, I bet you're tired of reading this... So, I'll leavenow with this quote: (speaking of how tight clothing can reduce a man's sperm count) That's Ok, emo kids shouldn't breed anyway.
