Chapter 6
Tora took Shika to the tea shop where Tora had a room in the back. When Tora walked in the door Cho greeted her with a big hug that almost knocked her over. “Where were you? I was worried. Who is she? Is she one of us?” Cho said almost jumping up and down. “I was walking Cho. This is Shika and yes she is one of us,” Tora said rubbing Cho head. Tora gave Shika a pair of jeans and a shirt. Daisuke came in the room saying, “Tora are you going to get to work? Oh, who is this?” “I’m Shika. And you are?” Daisuke answered, “I’m Daisuke, Tora’s friend. So, Tora are you going to change in your kimono? You have to work today.” Tora went over to her closet and pulled out a purple floral kimono. Then she went into the bathroom and got changed. When she came out she said, “Alright Daisuke. But, what are they going to do? Should we give them money for entertainment?” Daisuke reached into his pocket and gave Mitsukai some ryo. “Because you are the oldest of them you hold the money. I trust you Mitsukai. Now remember to cover and to look normal ok?” All three of the girls said, “OK!” at the same time and headed out the door. “So, umm……. You look pretty Tora. Are you going to hide your ears?” Daisuke said blushing. Tora looked at him for a minute then walked over to him. The sunlight made her ocean blue eyes look really beautiful to him. Then she kissed him on the forehead. “Daisuke if I could I would runaway with you and I wouldn’t have to hide anything.” Then she tied her hair up and put on her red hat. “Come on we have work to do.” Tora and Daisuke then walked into the tea shop.
As Cho, Shika, and Mitsukai walked down the street Cho asked Shika, “So, what are you?” Shika laughed and then replied, “Well, I’m like a deer. I can run really fast but my long orange hair always gets in my face. In fact I kinda remember all of you. But I remember where.” Then the 3 girls went into a ramen shop and ordered 3 large bowls of ramen. Cho basically inhaled her ramen. ‘How old are you Shika?” Mitsukai asked paying for the ramen. “I’m almost 13. My birthday is tomorrow in fact.” Then Cho said, “We should celebrate tomorrow!” Mitsukai and Shika laughed a little and left and headed back to the tea shop.
"Is that them?"
"Yeah. Remember your mission. Tora is the one you are after."
"What should i do about the boy?"
"Be creative."
"Got it." Konmei switched off his headpiece and grinned.
