If you want to make gold really fast, always click the 'here' icon after you submit something so the page loads faster.
Do polls. You can do 10 at a time for 10 gold each. Check chatterbox for tons of polls. After about 10 minutes, do it again.
Join a role play group. You post, develop a storyline, and make gold without effort.
Sell enchanted boxes if you get them in special events. don't open them. You may not get a good item. You can sell them for 1000 gold. I'd rather take 1000 gold than risk it for something that could be worth like..200.
It might even help to save links to topics you like to your favorite places so you can get there immediately.
