I have had breakfast, done duty and had 'quiet time'. Now we have Service and soon we'll be going to the place where we're going to sport. I have to take care of the basketball clinics today.
Taking care of someone. Who takes care of us when we are in trouble? Our parents, teachers... God?
Psalm 107:6-7 says:
Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble and He delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle.
In this text, God is taking care of the people who need help. Taking care of someone is in Dutch: "Zorgen voor iemand." The first word can also be translated as 'worries'. Worrying. What do we do when we have worries. We lie awake, get depressed... Some of us pray. Then they cried out to the Lord.
Matthew 6:33-34 says:
But seek first his Kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Anyway, it's evening now and we have to leave to the location soon. This afternoon was great. We ruined the drama piece a little, but the kids liked it. They liked everything we did.
I'm really tired now and it's getting cold. You know what's a miracle? It rained in every town/city in the netherlands, exept for Haarlem and Velserbroek. (The Sonrise locations.)

As I fall to sleep, will you comfort me?
When my heart is weak, will you rescue me?
You're better than drugs
