Summer vacation is almost over. Yesterday I got a letter from my schools about my Florida something, something, Test. (FCAT). It was from my school's ROTC wanting me to join. I've never thought of a career in the Navy or anything like that. I hardly know what to decide, but the ROTC could help me with college with the chance to get a 180K scholarship. I'm unsure if I would have to go to a Naval Academy.

I know joining the ROTC doesn't mean I'd have to join the Navy or anything, but it does open up career chances. Combined with my Health Academy classes, I could become a doctor for the navy and my future could be set, but I just don't know. I don't think I'd be able to do the physical activites of ROTC or stand some hot-headed senior calling me a maggot or something. Hate idiots with superiority complexes like that but thats what I'm going to get in the ROTC most likely.

Once school starts again I'm going to talk to my guidance counselour.
