Always there, never without
I hate you, the way you hold me tightly
But I care about you, to a point that it's hard
You're my friend, but you want more
Something that I cannot give you

You're at my door
Knocking
I"m not at home, please leave me alone.
You pound and I crindge
You call and I just ignore the call.
You're my friend yet you do not listen.
Why can't you just listen?
Is it so hard?
To hear the one thing that you don't want to.

I'm tired of being a lillypad.
Tired of being home base.
You're making me sick, can't you see it?
My head hurts, but it pales in comparison
To my heart.
Please...just leave me alone.

You'll always be my friend,
That can't be helped...
