I spent the entire day with my friends today... I was able to spend time with my good friend, Jozelle. I've only seen her once (for like 5 minutes!) before today. Since she she goes to another school in another island, it's hard for us to hang out. But after much planning and much begging... I finally got my wish!XD

Today was fun. A lot of my friends will be taking the UPCAT entrance exams (to get into UP University which is like one of the best colleges in the country!) this coming weekend and they gave up their study time so that they could hang out with me before I leave. I'm so touched! crying I really am blessed to have friends like them.

Yup, that's when I'll be leaving... Time really flies by so quickly when you're having fun. It's really unfair. But I'm glad I took advantage of my stay. I spend loads of time with my grand parents and the rest of my family here. I was able to spend time with my friends as well. Next year, they'll be going off to college and I probably won't be able to see most of them if I come to visit. So my return here was some sort of closure, I guess. I don't think we'll be able to return in a while, though. For one, the traveling fee is REALLY expensive. Secondly, I don't want to feel what I'm feeling right now EVERY SINGLE YEAR! I realized that I haven't completely let Bacolod go. So I think it's time for me to do just that. It will be hard. But I know it's for the best.

Gosh, I'll miss this place. I'll miss how slow-paced and laid-back life is here. I'll miss being able to actually see stars every night. I'll miss how crazy the roads are here (Seriously, we don't have any rules for the road or traffic rules here in the Philippines whatsoever!) I'll miss seeing my relatives and grandparents everyday. I'll miss my friends. I will never find friends like them anywhere. They're practically my sisters! Our "barkada" is so diverse. We have very different personalities, but we just manage to click and compliment one another. Dallas is my home now, though. I think God has a bigger plan for me up there...

But Bacolod will always hold a special place in my heart...
