(*Note for you freaks that aren't in band: Band buddies are 7th graders that the 8th and 9th graders pick at the beginning of the year. We give them candy and gifts, and write them notes. But, shh! It's a secret until the Halloween party)

She's, like, the coolest thing since sliced bread. Well, Becky (my BB from last year) is still the coolest, but Laurel is awesome. She likes Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Monty Python, and anime. I'm a little scared because she's so much like me. She plays the oboe, has brown hair, and even has glasses like mine. gonk I've found my Dopple-Ganger!

Ho, ho! I still need to type up my World Geo. presentation, don't I? Maybe if I eat Pringles and watch 7th Heaven, it'll happen.
...darn.

What happened today...
World Geography, there was a US States and Capitals Test. I think I got all the answers right...probably because I watched "Wakko's America" twice before school. mrgreen
Biology, we did worksheets all period. Did I mention that it was uber-humid today, and the heat is on already? The only cool places were the halls, since the never heat or air-condition them.
PE, we started volleyball. It's okay, I'm just glad to be finished with soccer. I can't serve worth a flip. Oh, well, at least Sheri and Giovanna are on my team. We can suck together.
Choir, omigosh we sang! Ha! And Clint got this haircut...oh, man, he doesn't Rock the Casbah with that style. Hutch (Ms. Hutchinson, our choir director) gave Clint, David, Choon, and Tyler Barret haircuts.
Band, it was awfully hot from the humidity...blech. I need to practice Pirates, my All-District music, and I gotsta bring $$ for Ms. Barker's present. Woo, we're playing with the Pearce Band (and Parkhill) at the game on Friday. I can't wait!
Tori didn't eat lunch with at school today because she got her braces off! I'll have to see her in the hall after 1st period.
English, we had to read the second part of Fahrenheit 451. And by "we" I mean all of the class except me. I can't help that I love Sci-Fi books and that I'm starting the third part of the book. I figured I'd have to slow it down, so I read some Harry Potter instead today. I cannot believe how many people don't like this book. I adore it! Stupid republicans.
Geometry, oh boy, now Peter sits at our table. Preston and Peter were making weird noises all through the period, so Natalie and I kept giggling and looking at each other. I wouldn't mind so much if we didn't sit right in front of Mrs. Scott.
I stayed after school to work on my World Geography project with Nicole. I like Nicole, she's cool. We talked a lot and I think we became a bit closer today. 3nodding She's my favorite Asian. heart
