take it slow
you take what you got
then you turn it around
you had a bad day
but it's gonna be okay

so now it's my turn
to have a bady day
cutting your head
on the edge of a locker
is not the best way
to savor today
but that's what happened

so i've got to go to school
with a scab on my head
what can i do
can i change it instead?
turn it around so someone else
has my scab
and all my pain
and all the love that came from it?

now i'm gonna keep it
