We left Thursday Night, and didn't get out of Bakersfield until about Nine. It is like a 13 hour drive! Very Very Very long. I only drove for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours on the way up there. I slept some. Gideon slep almost the whole way. He got antsy in like the last hour or two. REALLY wanted out!!! We all did. We got to Skyla's house at about 10:30am and it was rush rush rush. She had some pretty appointments, for her nails,and we waited for her fianse to lead us to the river. We didnt stay long cuz we had to EAT! We had Taco bell then head back to the River. It was so nice. The water was pristene and warm. Gideon enjoyed it right after he got used to it. He was splashing around. We could only stay for like ten minutes cuz we had to run and get ready for the Rehearsal. That was silly. The boys were goofing off of course. Arron would spin me down the isle or do the robot. LOL it was fun.
Then Skyla and Tony basically got married beacused the Elder had them 'Rehearse' thier vows. All that ws lacking was the closing prayer.
Then we went to the Rehearsal dinner at his parent's house. His dad by the way was the Elder who married them. Dinner was delicious. We drove Sky home and she took us to our Host's house first. Terry and Gloria Dahlberg. The best people Ever! We were so Spiritually upbuilt by these servants of Jehovah. They were incredibally sweet and Hospitable. We just fell in love with them!
As soon as our heads hit the bed, we were out. Especially Gideon. He hadn't had a nap all day.
The next day, I realized i forget my shoes at home. So I had to run to Wal-Mart and get some shoes and some nail polish. By 11:30 Sky came to get me so we could go get ready. A sister was doing all of our hair. We lounged around all day, primping and watching the Japanese version of American Gladiators. LOL it was funny! We were ready to go get our Pictures by three o clock at a Sister's home. She did the pictures and I know they will turn out Beautiful!!! She lives in a glimpse of Paradise! Deep dark Beautiful Woods, I swear Fairies were all around!
Next: We headed to the Kingdom Hall for the Wedding! We waited in the back room for everyone to arrive (Her dad was late as usual) Then: Duh Duh Da DUh! Here comes the Bride.
The talk was beautiful. The Vows were Beautiful. Tony was pinching back tears. You couldn't chissel the smile off his face. Skyla was so Incredibly Beautiful! It was wonderful!
Then The Rings, Prayer and Kiss to seal the Deal. They're MARRIED! I'm soooo Happy!!!!! They're Sooo Happy!!!!!!! HoooRay!!!!

We head off to the Reception. It was at the same Forest Home, the Photographers' Home. Boring Boring Boring....Then everyone arrived. The bridal party was announced and we all danced...Visited with some people, Me, Ced, Gideon and the hubby of the sister who did our hair decorated The newly-weds car. They cut the cake we ate of the cake, I nurse Gideon. Poor Guy was sooo Jonsin' for the boob. He hadn't had it all day! We went to a private room for a breather to nurse. Then we said goodbyes at the same time Skyla and Tony were....Time to Rest!
Back at the Dalhbergs we crashed! After a Bath in a Ginormous Bath Tub, that is.

The next day we took to ourselves. Lounged around all morning. Had a lovely Breakfast with Terry and Gloria. Hung out, went to Wally World for A thank you card for our hosts and some other things. We played in the toy department a little bit. Then headed back to have a DE-LICIOUS dinner of chicken Tacos That Gloria was a Genius at Cooking! Oh My gosh!! Yummy!!! I edited the video Terry took of the wedding, added effects and stuff like that.
A couple that was studdying joined us for dinner. Jose and Jessica. They are really a blast. It ws so fun. We got Jose to Join Gaia. Yay! LOL. We played Greed. (A dice game) and talked and Played with Gideon.
When we packed up and finally said our goodbyes at about 11:00pm I was crying. I did NOT want to go! I miss everyone up there. I CAN NOT WAIT to go back and visit. Jose says his goal is baptism in a few months, and we promise to go and wittness that event. I hope it's relativley soon.
The Drive home was LONG of couse. I drove ALL the way from Above Sacramento to home myself. Phew! And its STINKING HOT HERE!!!! Oh well Home again. Its nice I guess. Just wish we could have gotten more of our fill of our trip. I love Crescent City!!
