Chapter 2


The day after Max and Red set off to find the doors it started to rain. It came down hard and the road became muddy. To muddy for the horses to move in. So Max and Red had no choice but to walk. Red now showing his strength to Max as he walked in the rain with not just his broad sword on his back but also the things they needed to survive the long trip ahead. “Sir do you need some help. I mean you do have a lot there”. Red shook his head and kept walking. He seemed real determined to get through the storm. When the rain stopped Red sighed and looked at Max”Lets take a rest. We left the horses awhile back and we already came this far so we aren’t going all the way back there. And we have been walking for sometime now. No need to push our selves’ right.” Max shook his head. “But sir what about the two doors. If we rest someone might get there before us.” Red laughed.” Young people sure do like to rush. Kid even if someone doses make it there before us there are things out there could kill a man with one strike. Lets take some time to rest then we will set off later ok.” Max nodded and sat down under a tree. Red sat down as well and got some water out of there bag. After he drank some he closed his eyes and went to sleep. Max however did not sleep. He stayed up all night thinking what waits ahead. He looked up at the sky and sighed. The he looked at the other tree’s that made up a small forest. Just then Max saw a Black, White, and Blue flash zoom into the forest. Now max saw no other people around when they were walking so he thought it might have been demons like the ones he killed before. Max got his sword and got up. There was no need to wake up Red. Max knew he could take care of some demons no problem. Max ran over to the forest and walked inside. He looked around for the “demons” that he saw a while back. Just then he heard talking. When he found the demons they turned out to be humans. One man had on Black baggy pants and a baggy shirt. He also has a bandana around his head and hair that came down to his back wrapped in a pony tail. His face was smooth and clean. He had a black line that came down his right eye and left eye. He also had two swords by his side. He had light brown skin and looked about 22 or 23. Standing next to him was a strong tall set man with full facial hair and dark skin he had blue baggy pants and a blue T-shirt. He had two desert eagles and a sword on his back. He looked about 24. Then there was the man in white. He had short hair and some facial hair. He had on white combat pants and a white T-shirt. He had a sniper rifle on his back and a small sword on by his side. He looked about 22. Max backed up and tried to leave. He then stepped on a tree branch and the men turned around. They dashed toward Max and grabbed him. Max tried to break free but it was no use. “Who are you guys” Max asked them. The man in the white looked at Max and sighed”Well im Creed, The guy in the blue is shadow and the black is Grim. We came here to get some rest because we have been looking for the two doors.” Max looked at them “Im looking for the two doors to.” The men looked at Max and sighed. “Looks like we have to kill him. I don’t want anyone getting to the doors before us. Say goodnight kid” Shadow said taking out his gun. Just then Red came out from behind a tree and slashed down at the men. The men jumped out of the way and the sword hit the ground hard. “Max are you ok”. “yes sir. Im fine. But these guys want me dead because there looking for the two doors as well.” Red looked at Max and then the other three. “Well looks like we have to kill an old man as well as this guy . Fine with me” Shadow said. Shadow took out his guns and started shooting. Creed and Grim jumped into the trees and waited. Red stabbed his sword into the ground and blocked the bullets. Just then Grim came out of a tree and dashed toward Red. Grims eyes widened as he got closer to Red. Grim took out his sword and got ready to stab Red in his heart. Max took out his sword and got ready to help Red but he was shot in the arm by Creed making him fall to the ground. Grims eyes grew dark as his sword got ready to stab Red. At the last moment Max jumped up and was stabbed in the arm. ”Max” Red shouted as he tried his best to keep the bullets at bay. ”You fool. I will show you no mercy at all.” Grim said taking the sword out of Max’s arms then kicking him to the ground. Shadow stopped shooting so he could reload .”Now is my chance” Red said lifting his sword up and dashing toward Shadow. Just then a bullet hit Red in the leg. “Ha see what happens when you rush in to battle you old fool.” Creed said while he stayed hidden in the tree. “well your done for old man” Shadow said getting ready to shoot Red. Max looked at Red then at Grim. Max got up and ran pat Grim and got to Red just in time to push him out the way. Shadow was about to shoot but Grim got in the way. “Hey Grim what’s the deal man.” Shadow said lowering his guns. “I want to fight this guy. So take a rest and let me kill for once ok” Shadow put his guns away and sighed. “Fine. But this is the only time you take one of my kills away got it”. Creed jumped down from the tree ad sat down. “Well this should be good eh. Haven’t seen Grim fight in a while.” Creed said looking and Grim get into the mood. Shadow sat down beside Creed. Red wasn’t going to be able to move since he was shot in the leg so he had no choice but to watch. “So how do you want to die boy. I can end this real fast and you wont feel a thing. Or I could have fun with this and make you die slow. You can tell me what you want.” Grim said taking out his other sword. When he did the wind seemed to pick up. Max didn’t see this before but Grims swords were black and shined in the moon light. The blood dripped from one of his swords from when he had stabbed Max. Max got ready. He took a deep breath and said “Im not going to die. Im going to kill you and save Sir Red. Then im going to kill the other two behind you.” Grim sighed and dashed toward Max. Just as Max was about block Grim was already behind him. “To slow” Grim said as he moved from Max. Grim turned around to look at the boy and see his shock. Max turned around and ran toward Grim when all of a sudden he fell to his knees. Blood sprayed from his right leg and Max looked down at his leg in fear. He had never been cut by a blade before. The Pain that he felt was great. “So are you going to stay on the ground licking your wounds or are you going to get up” Grim said walking toward Max. Grim had an evil smile on his face now. His eyes where dark and black as coil and he had no remorse for what he was about to do. The only name that could describe him now was monster. Max got up with the help of his sword and got ready for Grim to attack again. Grim dashed at Max again and jumped into the air. When he came down his swords where crossed and he amid right for Max’s head. Max blocked the swords as well as he could the push Grim back. But Grim came back for more. Grim slashed at Max over and over again. He was toying with him. Playing with him before he went in for the kill. Max’s leg was bothering him but he tried not to think about it Don’t think about your leg. Think about this guy that’s trying to kill you. You have you get him before he gets you….NOW. And at the moment Max got the strength to push Grim back one more time and cut him across his chest. “Ha. I got you. Have you had enough” Max said in a cocky tone. Grim looked at the blood that came out from his chest and laughed. He rushed toward max faster then before and tried to cut his head off. Max ducked and jumped back and tried to ignore the pain in his leg, when his feet touched the ground Grims face was right in front of his smiling. Grim swung his sword again but it was blocked by Max. “I love it” Grim shouted as he grabbed Max and tossed him toward a tree. Max was tossed through the tree and landed on the ground. He got back u and saw Grim running toward him with full speed “No one has ever gotten close to cutting me. This is great. ” Grim said cutting Max on the arm and chest. With that Max fell to the ground. Grim looked at him and sighed. “That’s all huh. Since you cut me I thought I could go all out. But I guess not huh.” Grim said turning around “Your not even worth killing.” Grim said as he started to walk off. Just then he felt something. Red and the others did as well. Shadow and Creed ran over to where Grim and Max was and Red limped over. Max stood up with a green aura around him. The blood was still rushing out of his body but it seemed like he didn’t care. He rushed toward Grim and tried to cut him. Grim at the last moment blocked the sword. But Max punched Grim in the face with his free hand and sent him flying past Shadow and the others. “What the hell was that” Shadow asked Creed. “I think that was Grim. Lets go.” They ran to where Grim was and saw him on the ground. When he got up his eyes were Black and a black aura came around him. He rushed past them and clashed swords with Max. Sparks flew and Max and Grim started fighting. Max kept blocking and countering the attacks of Grim and Grim did the same. Shadow Creed and Red looked on in shock. Red could not beleave what he saw. “ This kid wanted me to train him and he has power like this. He could get to the two doors without any ones help no problem.” Grim was to tired to go on and the same went for Max. They fell to there knees and looked at each other. “This boy is something else. I have never fought like that before. And from the looks of it he hasn’t ether.” Grim said to himself. Grim stood up and put his swords away. “You win boy.” Grim said looking down at Max. “My name is Max and im 18 years old. Im a man.” Grim sighed and shrugged “whatever man. Well Max you won. But don’t let this win go to your head. I will fight you again. And when I do I will crush you.” Grim walked over to the others. Red limped over to max and helped him up “that was some fighting kid. You did good.” Max smiled abit then looked over at Grim and the others. Creed Shadow and Grim walked over to Red and Max. “Well we decided to join you in looking for the two doors. After a fight like that we don’t want you as foe’s. And if we are together we can fend off anyone in our way. So how about it.” Creed said with a smile. Red and Max looked at each other then nodded. “Fine with us. But don’t try anything funny got it.” Red said with a sigh of relief. They nodded and helped them up. So they all left the forest in search of the two doors.
