I pondered the death of the one I loved

Destroyed by the one I admire

A close friend, one I've know since the beginning of everything

I looked to the sky- shimmers of brightly shining stars



One star, glowing brighter than all the others

Had caught my attention

It seemed to move

I closed my eyes- rested upon the soft grass

I saw...

I saw...a creature of great strength

Of great power

Looking down on me

Watching me

Doing what was best for me



The one that killed my brother

The one that had saved my life

Bestowing the creature with my forgiving glare

We will continue to live



Live we will...

And live we did...

Until we came to the beginning of everything



And live we may...

So, in this place we'll pray

Pray of a place to return to when we depart

Maybe a place like the night sky- drowned in stars



Therefore, Within the hearts of many...

We will live

Once again...
