Linonophobic
I don't have much to say, but I'll say what I do have. ^_^
Incinerate
And this is a while after Meeting, since Pavel's not an MPO anymore. Antigone isn't mentioned much because she's currently out of commission because Pavel got her preggers. -snickers- And this one is short, barely three pages. But it was fun to write, so it's all good.

He dropped down from his perch on the fire-escape, sword in one hand and the other being used to keep his balance on the slick ground. Morgan was soaked from the heavy rain pouring down from the heavens, and it was obvious from the way his hair clung to his skin. His gun was tucked safely away in its holster, and he eyed the carnage on the ground carefully. He hadn't done this; it looked like the three Enforcers had been flayed alive. That was new, he mused, jostling the closest body with his foot. They hadn't been dead long, possibly just before the downpour had started.

Just behind him, Pavel shimmied down the ladder, coming to stand next to him, "Man, sucks to be these sorry bastards."

"You said it." Morgan kneeled, looking for anything usable on the corpse nearest – bullets, weapons, canteens, anything. Unfortunately, none of the bodies were wearing clothes. He glanced around, finally spotting a pile of the missing articles a few feet away. He made his way over, taking out small knife for any work he might have to do. With a triumphant grin, he pulled out an unused and unharmed handgun clip from the lining of the bulletproof vest, "I'm wondering what did this to them. It’s too precise for a flamethrower and a lot more violent."

"Heh, if I didn't know that you couldn't blow s**t up with your mind, I'd say you did it." Pavel snickered, kneeling next to his commander. Despite having dropped being an MPO months earlier, he couldn't shake some of the lingo.

"And I bet every Enforcer that comes across these remains is going to think it was me doing the cooking. Which means they're gonna be out in full force if we don't get rid of these guys."

Pavel nodded once, "That's the easy part. How we gonna get them to the incinerator?"

Morgan looked around, trying to think. He spotted two blue tarps covering some boxes in on the far end of the alley, then eyed Excalibur for a moment before sheathing it and drawing the blade he carried on his back. He wasn't going to use the sword for something like this. "Grab the tarps back there. We're gonna slice these guys up and drag them back."

"Yum," Pavel made a face, but did as he was told. It was lucky they were only a half mile from their destination.

Twenty minutes later, both men were thankful for the heavy rain and its cleansing drops. The three bodies had been reduced to diced meat, and spread out between the two tarps. It had been dirty work, but they had eventually finished. Morgan snatched up the three vests – something could be salvaged – and tucked them under one arm, "We'll both go, but keep a weapon handy, alright?"

"Gotcha!"

Their trek back was entirely uneventful, and for that both men were extremely thankful. Back in the apartment building and safe for the moment, Morgan thought of how easy that had been. The last thing either of them had wanted was to run into trouble while dragging severely dismembered bodies behind them. There was no way they would ever be able to explain it viably. "We just thought smaller pieces would be easier to bury!"

Morgan snickered at the thought, and Pavel gave him a weary look. “You know, I still have trouble not gunning it when I’m near you.”

The black haired man blinked, “Why do you say that?”

“We just hacked a bunch of bodies into tiny pieces, dragged them behind us, and tossed them in the trash incinerator, and you ask me that?” Pavel grinned, “Nah, I’m just so used to the mystery behind ‘the Demon’ that sometimes I forget that it’s you they’re so afraid of.”

Morgan raised his eyebrows, “Yeah, I can see the conflict there. So, what do they say about me?”

“You don’t know?” Pavel was obviously surprised by this knowledge.

“Well, I don’t make a habit of going into enemy territory if I can help it.”

The ex-Enforcer grinned, “Course not. They call you a demon, for one. Leaves no survivors, rarely leaves behind a body – some guys think you eat them.” Morgan’s laughing interrupted him, “No one’s sure of your sex, but everyone agrees on the Demon title.”

“Man, that’s pretty funny. I guess it’s a good thing.”

“What?”

“The mystery, I guess. Keeps them afraid, and I can use that against them.” Morgan shrugged, “I’m gonna go shower. You might want to check of Antigone.”

Pavel saluted, goofy grin on his face, “Works for me. See ya later, boss!”
