((A/N: Alright....I really really really shouldn't be doing anything like this. I cleaned out my desk again, and in the bottom drawer (Where I NEVER clean)) I found this OLD OLD OLD Fma Fanfic I wrote way back, probably back some time in April of 2006 or 2007, *shrug* But it was based off of the RPs Olivia and I do. ^^; She asked if I would let her read it, so I guess I will post the chapters as I find them.
Its really bad! >____< And Emo!

Hailey sat outside the HQ building on the soft grass lazily. Envy sat back a little ways away from her under the large tree that sat out in the yard. Al also sat outside with them. He sat leaning back against Chibi who slept peacefully, and he dragged his hand across the grass as Shima chased it playfully.

To the normal eye, it looked like they were just the same, spending a lazy day out in the sun. From Al's carefree giggles to Envy's natural scowl, they looked at peace. But upon a closer look, a deep shade of sadness filled the three sets of human eyes.

Envy finally yawned, stretching out along the grass as Hailey stretched herself out on her stomach. She lay her head down on her hands, and sadly peered on through the blades of sharp green grass. As Envy finished his stretch, that resembled much like a cat would stretch, he stood and spoke. "I'm heading in to get some food." He announced, glancing to Al, then settling his gaze down on Hailey where she lay.

"I'll come." Al said as he shook some grass off of himself and stood, setting Shima gently on the ground. "You gonna come?" Envy asked placing his hands on his hips, staring down at Hailey.

She finally acknowledged him, turning her head up slightly, but she looked and shook her head, then placed it back on her hands on the grass. Envy sighed loudly and scratched the back of his head. "Alright then..." He mumbled, giving Al a look he couldn't read. "We'll be inside if you need anything." Al said with a nervous smile. Trying to get one from Hailey. She nodded at them as she raised her head to look at Shima.

Al waved a little to her, and she returned it wit a small flick of her hand.

Envy sighed again loudly as he and Al walked, and a small disappointed huff of breath escaped Al a moment later. "How longs it been?" Envy finally spoke. Al looked over to him, a questioning light in his eyes, then it clicked. "Oh.." He muttered. "It's been nearly a month..." He mumbled sadly. "She really hasn't spoken a single word in a whole month?" Envy asked, almost pure disbelief in his voice. Al only nodded. "Well...I think she'll come out of it.." Al muttered hopeful. Envy nodded as they walked in through the doors of HQ.

Back on the grass Hailey still lay still, dull eyes trailing an ant as it walked along the dirt in front of her. There was the soft patter of paw pads on the grass, and then something on her back tenderly. Shima played playfully with her hair as she smiled a little, but sadness was still held in her eyes. Chibi woke from his nap and found he was alone on his side of the grass, then he spotted Hailey and Shima. He yawned and got up, slowly walking over to where Hailey now sat. She turned and watched him walk over and yawn again. Once he made it across the yard, he came up behind Hailey and curled up around her. He was ready for another nap, and upon watching him, she realized she was tired as well as she lay down, her head now against Chibi's large body as Shima wedged himself in along side them both.

Before long, Hailey's mind drifted. She closed her eyes and began to think about that wretched day, that seemed so close, yet so far away. The day her life was turned to a pile of rubble, the day she lost all she had to live for, the day she stopped talking, and became mute.
