Hailey woke hours later to a gun shot, and an agonizing scream following it. Her eyes shot open, but she couldn't see, or figure out who the scream had come from, but it was familiar. Her eyes were clouded and she slowly regained feeling of her body, but it came slow. She tried to think, but her mind was foggy and she realized she was having trouble breathing. Hypoxic imbecility was working its ways on her quickly. She slowly regained vision for a moment and gasped the best she could manage in horror.

She was twords the edge of the room by herself. She found there was a hard metal clamp around her neck tightly, some kind of tourture devise no doubt, to cut off most of her oxygen. She also found her hands were bound back in a very uncomfortable manor.

Vision still blurring off and on, she saw lots of red, and shapes of bodies twords the center of the floor. At first she couldn't remember anything: Where she was, what she had been doing, who she had been with, then she remembered. As she sat there gasping for air, her vision cleared for another moment and she something she didn't ever want to see....

Sprawled on the center of the floor lay Ling, Olivia and Ed, all bound and covered in blood. She panicked and yelled the best she could, struggling against the chains that held her arms as they tore at her flesh. She panted, trying to get oxygen to her lung as they burned.

Suddenly, she felt herself being lifted from the ground by a strong hand. She choked, unable to breath or think. In her blurry vision she saw a man smirking at her, but he didn't speak. She felt something against her stomach suddenly, like a barrel of a shotgun. He held her there for a long time, just gabbing the gun at her until she almost lost consciousness again. Right before she closed her eyes, scoming to the lack of oxygen, a loud slam rang out and right away there was a gun shot as he fell to the floor immediately.

It happened so fast Hailey hardly had time to think. She was dropped as she fell on the ground hard. She almost passed out again until she heard voices and felt strong hands fighting the clamp around her neck, and the strong chains that held her arms.

In a few moments, she could breath again as she drew in ragged breaths. Her thinking was slow, and vision sill blurred, but that was nothing that wouldn't clear up within' an hour or two. Once she was breathing better, she quickly glanced around, to see who had come right in time. Lt. Colonel Frank Archer stood in the door way as he barked commands to the men he had with him. She slowly stood, then remembered the horror she'd seen on the floor.

She turned and saw pools of blood, and three figures. She stumbled over, trying to see who was who. Tears stung her eyes and trailed down her cheeks quickly. She quickly turned after mumbling words of encouragement to the three, that they would be alright. "Sir!" She screamed frantic. "They need medical attention, fast!" She yelled to Archer, her voice cracking as he only stared at her.

"Sir?!" She cried. "They are going to die! Get them out!" She screamed grabbing the collar of his uniform in rage. That upset him though, without a word he swiftly slapped her across the cheek, sending her to the floor.

She still couldn't see clearly, and it took a moment for her to figure out what had hit her. She stood again quickly. But this time she was mad. She curled her fist slamming it right into Archers cheek as he stumbled back.

"Damit! They need help!" Hailey screamed as Archer hissed loud commands to his men to grab her. She felt big hands grasp her as she thrashed around, trying to break free. Archer stood and watched wiping some blood from his lip.

"Lock her up!" He yelled angrily and that was the last thing Hailey heard before falling unconscious again.
