Bella Lipinski.
Died Saturday, October 13, 2007.
Bella was a German Short-hair pointer, a hunting dog. She was a pretty, energetic, playful, and happy dog. She had a habit of running off for a few hours at a time, but always came back alright. We've always known she would die this way, we usually put her on a chain to prevent her from running off, but today was one of the days that we assumed she'd be fine. My dad was out in the barn and watched her for awhile, but the second he turned his back she was off, along with our other Shorthair, who was also her older brother, Bo.
Bo came back an hour ago, and my dad went out to look for Bella again. He found her on the road and brought her back, he built a fire and burned her body so that when we buried her, she wouldn't be dug up.
