Bio- Callista?s life has been one loss after another. Her father left her mother, brother and her when she was 3 yrs old. Soon after her mother had to leave home in search for a job that would support them. Left with their grandparents, she and her brother tried to continue living without them. Her days were full of sunshine and she tried to look on the positive side of things?.until her 7th birthday. She went home after school that day hoping her brother recovered from his long time illness, that was her birthday wish. But as she stepped through the door, what she found was the total opposite. People stared at her with red, sad eyes. Noone had to say anything,?her brother was dead. Full of sadness she ran out the door, towards the beach where she used to go with her brother.
When she arrived, so stared at the sea with tearful eyes. Memories came flooding back and she felt as though her soul had just broke. She screamed in pain as though something inside of her was clawing its way out. What happened next was just unbelievable to her.
She was floating in the middle of a tornado. Winds surrounding her, cutting her and bringing about horrible pain as she tried to get out. She felt terrified, like no nightmare could ever compare to what was happening to her. She closed her eyes, cried screaming, ?Let it all be over!! Please! Someone help me!?. Then everything went black.
The next day, she woke up in her bed greeted by her grandmother. She cried hugging her, telling her the nightmare that she dreamed up. Her grandmother quieted her down and told her to be quiet as she told her, her favorite bedtime story.
The story was about a beautiful Wind goddess that descended from the heavens and granted a mortal woman?s wish to have a baby. The Wind goddess had fallen in love with a mortal and had been pregnant with his child. The man later on died in war and the goddess could not keep the child since this was not permitted in Heaven. She had heard a woman's plea to save her child and not let it be a miscarriage. The Goddess appeared before her and sadly told her of her child's death. The woman cried as she heard the news. The Goddess had told her not to worry, she will giver a child to replace the other. Before the woman knew what was happening, she was in labor. The child grew up happy and was kept out of harms way by the Wind Goddess who watched her from Heaven.
After Callista had calmed down, she asked why she told the story at such a time. Her grandmother reaveled that the Wind Goddess was her mother and that she was half-wind goddess. She was told, that the tornado was her Goddess power and had to control it.
Callista just sat wide-eyed at the revelation. She was shocked to know she controlled such dangerous powers and more importantly that she was not blood related to her brother. Sadness filled her heart and she broke down and cried.
Years later, Callista, now 15, moved to a different country with her 'mother'. She still loved her and nothing could change that. She had been practicing her powers to control them, but she rarely uses or practices for fear of someone might see. She also trained with her relatives on using a double katana and mace. She had met a boy, a telepath and practiced black & white magic. They had fallen in love and life just seemed perfect. They were together for about 14 months, but that beautiful dream turned into a nightmare. He left her for another man.
Sadness, anger, and hate filled her mind and her powers awoke once more. She lost control and created a massive tornado. Many properties were destroyed and almost nothing could stop her. Blinded by her own fury, she didn't notice the tornado picking up her ex.
All of a sudden incredible pain hit her all over. She sensed his pain and quickly realized he was caught within the tornado. She stopped the strong winds and caught him. She held him close and cried begging for forgiveness as she quietly floated down. He was passed out and was breathing, but very faintly. She knew nothing could be the same anymore.
She set him down on the ground, kissed him one last time and flew off. She didnt know where she was headed. All she knew was that she had to be taught how to control her powers as well learn more about healing.
Personality- Mood swings. She can be happy and cheerful one minute, the next angry and deppressing. She loves and enjoys any challenge that comes her way. She loves meeting new people and but mostly like to be by herself.
