Forsooth the toll that this menial work takes
Leaves no area of my heart untouched
How I yearn for the cool ligjt of life
A tendril of mammoth seas soft against my face
Of crisp blue skies and burning leaves
Falling in drifts through broken sieves
Of the rustle and crunch underfoot
Stepping on a multi-colored rainbow like scattered soot
Farflung the shady green dissapears
Replacedby fiery colors, orange, yellows and reds
The auburn lady touches, lights aflame
And the fierce wiind whispers, autum, autum
