I love those words
It's the start of something new
It's the start of something
With possibility
With potential
For goodness
And love
In the beginning
Each time I hear it,
I savor the sound.
It's a beautiful phrase.
The start of something new,
Clean,
Purified.
That would be worth anything.
A new start.
Wouldn't it be wonderful
To have a chance at redemption?
Have a chance to start over,
Forget all the shameful things you've done,
All the things you've been tempted to do,
Start over.
New game.
Time to try again.
Maybe,
If we had another chance,
We could get it right.
Maybe.
I think we could.
It would take determination,
And tenacity.
But I think we could.
Wouldn't that be nice?
Wouldn't that be wonderful?
Wouldn't it be nice,
To actually have a chance at true love?
I would give anything
For that.
Another chance.
Another start.
Erase the memory,
Begin again.
I'd like that.
I know it's a practically impossible dream
(Until Armageddon comes)
But it's always nice to hope.
Another chance.
