People should be allowed to be who they want to be, AND say what they want to say! Many good books have been banned because people think they're "inapproprite". Like the Harry Potter series. Many places censored this and removed it from the library because they thought it promoted witchcraft.
They also censor books that educate kids about sex. But did you know your 70% more likly to get a sex related disease if you don't know about them.
