I'm giving up on life,
I'm giving in to the lie,
I've given everything up,
I'll no longer try,

I'm sick of having to fight,
For anything good,
So I press theis blade to my skin,
Though not, I should,

I'm not like the feiry tale princesses,
I don't have a prince to protect me,
I know I'll never have,
My happy ending,

Abuse, lies, leaving,
My life's been full of them,
So I cling to the only thing I have left,
I cling to my friends,

They're the only constant thing in my life,
The only things I hold dear,
I get upset when we fight,
I hold my friends near,

I know this, though,
Each day I grow stronger,
Because of these hardships,
I'll live longer.
