Her heart beat echoes.
He locks his eyes on her.
Her face reddens.
His follows suit.

Their hearts skip a bit.

She waits for him to speak.
The words are at the tip of his tounge, but they refuse to come out.
She fidgets and becomes impatient.
He curses himself inwardly.

His heart trembles with fear.

She takes a shy step forward.
His body stiffens.
Her soft hand touches his face.
Her sincere orbs reel him in.

His heart is filled with the surging flames of passion.

He says it.
His words were barely above a whisper, but were heard, nonetheless.
They echo throughout the deceiving sea of silence.
Beautiful words...

His heart is filled with relief.

Tears stream down her face.
She snakes her arms around his waist.
She locks him into a tight embrace.
She sobs into his chest.

Her heart unlocks itself from its lonely prison.

Triumph and glee is evident on his handsome features.
He gently lifts her chin.
She smiles at him.
He leans his forehead against hers.

Her heart leaps with joy.

Her soft touch sends shivers down his spine.
His smile makes her knees buckle.
The way his name escapes her lips was perfect.
She feels safe in his arms.

Her heart is given away.

She brings her arms up to circle his neck.
His face is but a few inches away from hers.
They hesitate at first.
But the gap closes.
