Ohio, Cincinnati, July, 22, 2008.
“Man the TV is not working again!” shouted Miso to his twin older sister, Chamay.
“Is not my fault our detective agency hasn’t solved a single case in moths!” said the blond green eye, Chamay over the sounds of static.
Outside Shadow approached the NetStars Public Paranormal Detective Agency.
The doorbell rang.
“Someone at the door!” shouted Carmina.
“I got it!” shouted Miso and turning off the TV. Trying to get to the door was real problem, not only was there remains of pizza boxes everywhere but also large mountains of dirty clothes that needing immediate washing! The walls were cover in previous unsolved cases and wanted posters.
“Ya who is it?” he asked from behind the wooden door.
“I like to have a chat with your agency.” responded Shadow from the other side of the door.
“Sorry Sir were close, is like two am come back tomorrow.” and just as Miso was going to move away from the door came something that attracted his attention fully.
“I have twenty-million dollars for each one of you.” announce Shadow and as soon as this words reach Miso’s ear the door was open.
Miso’s appearances was not promising. The eighteen year old had made a short ponytail out his dark hair, his green eyes shined with an enigmatic light. Miso garment left room for comments; his blue jacket had a ring of white fur around the neck while his dark-jean has several chains and pockets around them, making him look like street punk even with his childlike smile.
“Come I introduce you to everyone.” and as he turned around, Shadow saw that the back of Miso’s jacket a the symbol of the NetStars; a large red star with a circle were the words “NetStars” were incase in.
“Don’t tell me you allowed a complete stranger inside the house at this hour Miso!” this time it
was Carmina who did the shouting. Carmina’s hair seemed to be made of fire with crimson glow to it, as while as her eyes.
“And who is he?” she said pressing a hand to Vee’s chest. He saw then that in both hands she wore fingerless red gloves. He also took notice that Carmina had her right arm tattoo with the words “Red” in the forms of flames, while her other arm had the Roman numeral “XIII” tattoo in it.
“I’m Shadow, Freelancer .” he said stretching out a hand that she slapped away. He saw that from her neck hug a red gem in the shape of tear and sparkling with red-dust. The black shirt she wore was sleeveless and had the NetStars design in it.
“Spare me the formalities.” she threw a punch and he dodge with minimum reaction, only moving his neck. He stretched his arm again and she threw and axe kick, which he equally dodged wit minimum effort.
She blinked widely, her red eyes shinning in the light, he could see that her nose was pierce.
“Alright then wise guy.” she took a pair of black shades, out her the pocket of her jean shorts. She place them right in top of her crimson-red hair and threw several continuous punches.
Shadow dodged most of them without breaking into a sweat, for Carmina she held her ground and threw a punch which just force that the hot air knock Shadow off balance and she rush to finish the fight.
“You two stop now.” said Laguna. Laguna wore a snow white hoody, his lips were ocean blue and so were his ice-cold eyes, his hair was white as snow.
“You ruin all the fun.” she said while walking away and sitting on a dusty couch.
“You have to excuse her.” Laguna hoody was high enough that his neck was blocked out and his pants were thick black, must keep him warm? But every time he spoke a chilling mist escape his innards.
“Is fine…however your apartment is not.” responded Shadow looking at the messy place.
“Sorry about that get we get to the point now.” said Laguna throwing his long silky hair back.
Ohio, Blue Hills, July, 23, 2008.
“Wow! with all this money we could buy anything!” said Carmina to Chamay.
The train to Blue Hills was a four our ride, the country side outside was half gone, replaced by unfinished buildings and construction sites.
“Making three pancakes is NOT going to solve our problems!” shouted Shadow in the kitchen’s train to Laguna.
“I will be making more in no time.” he responded in his cold voice going back to making them.
“Ya well I’m hungry too and I’m the youngest.” said Miso, who got a glare from Shadow.
“Hey what are we having for breakfast?” said Chamay entering the private kitchen cabin.
She like her brother had the same near-fluorescent green eyes. She wore a short green dress with jean pants under it, in her left leg was the design of the NetStars. And she wore black fishnet around her arms.
“Didn’t Laguna just said he is making….” but all sudden Shadow stop and so did everyone else. For outside something of the likes they never seen before happen.
A gapped like cut in the fabric of reality appear, it was directed to a night-sky and not a sunny day, otherwise it would been impossible to see. Dawn and the monster that she being battling both felt from the gap to Shadow’s world.
Dawn struggle to free herself from one of the creature’s tentacle, be manifesting a thick darkness like tar around the monster head. And as she released her, Shadow took notice that they were falling from a tremendous high. Once she realized this she incased herself in an obsidian sphere, slowly descending. As the creature plumed to it imminent death it created a gap much of the likes in the sky and vanished through it. The gap close swiftly drawing a little bit of air in, and just as Dawn touch the ground and vanished the sphere it reaper through another gap.
Laguna ran to the closes door, Shadow ran next to him and just as he saw that Laguna was ready to open the door he stop him.
“Wait a second! If you don’t think of a plan that thing what ever it is, is going to take us down!” said Shadow.
“And while we think of it…that strange women may be killed.” answer Laguna calmly.
“I was saving this for later but I guess is now or never.” he walked over to his own cabin and took a large metallic surfer board and a green backpack. After putting it on he lowers his infrared goggles.
“Open the door when I say go and jumped.” he held the surf board to his side.
Laguna was totally confuse but fallow with the plan, and slowly open the door the. The velocity of the train caused a tremendous vacuum.
“Now!” shouted Shadow as Laguna open the door fully the intercity of the vacuum was just that he flew out, ridding in the surf board and Laguna jumped right behind him.
“Hold on!” he shouted at the surf board levitated! And speed up toward Dawn and the monster.
As Laguna held to Shadow’s waist he wander how it work. “Is this ninja magic or my just having an acid tri?!” he shouted over the sound of them ridding the air.
“No there no such thing as ninja magic. I’m just synchronizing the polarity of this metal with the one of Earth’s magnetic field causing them to repeal each other like two magnets and causing us to fly, the more force I applied the faster and higher we go.” and Shadow pour his will into the very surf board.
