"Zeneeba!"
"She's dead..."
"Zeneeba!!!"
"She moved away."
"ZENEEBA PYRA!!"
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!"
"I have a surprise for the house!"
"And?"
"Get up here so I may be able to show you!"
"How about you come down here? I'm sorta busy."
Tina stomped her way down the steps to one of the guest rooms, kicking the door open only to find Zee curled up around both of the eggs she's been walking around with. One seemed to be cracking, while the green one was shaking lightly with the young lizard like creature's snout sticking out of it.
Tina blinked a few times, and pointed to the green egg, "Should it still be in it's egg like that? To think it would be running around with the rest of the critters in this house."
"I don't blame it for keepin a low profile in this asylum. What do you want?"
"Oh yes! Zee...Meet Pepper," Tina said as she pulls a small child into the room. The girl had short purple hair, and seemed vexed at the world. Zee stood up on all four, replacing herself with the very blanket she was laying on to keep the eggs warm and together, then leaned over and sniffed at the girl.
Tina giggled, blushing and turning away, "I found this dilapidated building which, in reality, was an orphanage. They're holding a program for any and all volunteers.... To take in and supply one of it's many ophans, and send to an adoption agency to find a loving home! Even though we're quite the odd family, we are still a family none the less. Our maternal instincts have worked for us once or twice before, correct? We should be able to......Zee. What are you doing..."
When she turned back toward Zee only to find the legs and feet of the child sticking out of Zee's drooling mouth, and slowly sliding in.
Zee giggled shaking her head, "Nuffin"
"Zee...put the child down.."
Zee growls and shakes her head.
Tina sighs and morphs into a naga, towering over Zee with an angry look on her face. "Dear sister...I do not wish to have to rip you open for the small human, but shall if you do not release Pepper this instance..."
Zee looked up with her ears folded back, "But....I'm your sistah....You 'an't do dat to me..."
"I am sure you will heal nicely over a few days..."
With a whine, Zee spits Pepper out onto the ground.
The child sat there, about to cry as Tina hugged her after changing back to her normal self.
"Now, listen here, Zee. You are not going to be eating any human children from now until the end of this year. In fact, you will come with me to the orphanage and take in a young human of your own."
Zee growled, "The hell I will. I'm sittin my duff right here with my DS and my eggs."
"You will receive all the eggnog your little heart...and big stomach...desires..."
"Show me where the little darlings are!"
"Good, I need to pick up the new family van while we are out as well."
Zapook ran by them as they made their way to the front door. She seemed unusually cheery, sporting a red scarf. Boem, her grunny, bounced behind her, silently watching the odd flying creature that was following behind Zapook.
Zee rolled her eyes, giggling, "Looks like Pookie's off to meet her girlfriend again."
Zapook smiled over at Zee, stuck her middle finger up, and proceeded to skip out the front door.
"I think it would be wise for you to not tease Zapook about her new friend, Xao."
A few hours later, Zapook was back home, and everyone was off doing their usual thing...until a crash was heard from the front of the house. Everyone, and everything, gathered in the front room of the house where a white van had crashed through the wall next to the front door. Tina stumbled out first, shaking immensely, followed by Pepper, who was laughing loudly. Then another child stumbled out, a white haired one who was crying and dragging a box. Finally, Zee opened the door to the driver's seat and tumbled out onto the floor, slightly twitching.
"This...is why...I don't drive..."
Tina rears up, quickly changing into a naga, "THEN WHY IN ASLAN'S DID YOU TAKE THE FREAKING WHEEL!?"
While Tina chased Zee around the front room, Aussa leaned down in front of the orphans, smiling and being as convincingly happy as she could, "Hello, there! You must be the My Name is Aussa. And you are..?"
The girl folded her arms and turned away from Aussa, "Pepper..."
The smaller one, peeking out from under the box he was dragging around, shyly spoke, "My...name is ...Sunako..."
Aussa sighed, then looked back Tina and Zee, "This is going to be one off Christmas..."
