[Narrator/foreshadow:]
Once in a small town...covered in nothing but dried grass and large factories...A romance was formed.One that was formed with the misery and the sorrow that the two lovers had.The distance between their homelands was great.Seeing each other again would be a burden...and so,they were forced to seperate.He said goodbye and with a tear streaming down his face;he vanished.The girl could do nothing but drown herself in the cold waters of depression.Feeling betrayed,she cried until she had no more tears.The girls name was,Chouko Hanaba.
[Scene 1:]
-Open plains rest quietly and still as singing weaves through it-

[boy's thoughts:]
Who is that singing?What a beautiful voice she has....Doko?Doko?(Doko is Japanese for where)Where is it coming from?There!In the opening of the plains!
-boy rushes over towards where the girl's voice was coming from-
-boys eyes widen when he sees a pretty girl sitting in the center of the field singing softly to a small kitten like thing as it nuzzles her- -the girl notices him and stops singing and blushes-
boy:Um..you have a very beautiful voice...
-girl just sits there in shock and embarrisment-
girl:T-thanks..
-she says studdering-
boy:Yeah.Heh.
-the boy says rubbing the back of his head laughing embarrised like-
girl:Um do you like singing?
boy:Yeah.But I'm not that good.Not even as close as good as you are...
-the boy says without thinking and when he realizes he blushes uncontrolibly-
-the girl blushes without saying a word-
boy:S-so may I sit next to you?
-the boy asked trying to recover-
girl:Of course.
boy:Thanks,oh and by the way,my name is Hotaru Akira.
girl:My name is Chouko Hanaba.
Hotaru:That is a beautiful name...Chouko...
-Chouko blushes-
Chouko:Y-you have a good name to,Akira..
Hotaru:No need to be formal.You can call me Hotaru!^-^
Chouko:Ok...Hotaru..
-Hotaru blushes-
Hotaru:Well I better get going it's getting dark.
-and with that Hotaru got up and dusted himself off-
Chouko:Aw..Bai-bai!^-^
-Chouko said smiling and waving-
-Hotaru leaves and with that so does Chouko-
-And then the field becomes solemn and dull-
