well, we've hit it, the thing all those brake through war novels have done, ambiguity. What I mean is, theirs no clear good or bad guy in this war. I thought their was, but as I was sitting here, I saw a commercial for a program on the war, and I suddenly realized that their are no good or bad guys. This is how I reached the conclusion.
Who is good and who is bad is all the opinion of which side your on. For us, America is the good guy, because we are America. But to the fighters in Afghanistan, their the good guys, because they are who they are.
I thought about the road side bombs, and how evil that is, and then I thought about books and novels about freedom fighters, weir they do the same thing against their overlords, and they are hailed as heroes.
You have to look at it from both sides of the field. Good guys and bad guys very rarely exist in real life. You can say that Nazi's are bad guys, and you would be right, because they do such horrible things for no real reason but their own delusions. The Holocaust. But things aren't usually that clear cut
