Physical Appearance: Thin and of slight build, Mordecai is short and acrobatic. His muscles are not large, but very precisely defined, as if they were cut from stone. He has cloudy white hair, soft almost illuminescent skin, white soft boots and silver pants. He also has white arm wraps, the ends floating lazily about his hands. His features are young, almost boyish, though his eyes are deep with an ancient knowledge.

Weapons: Mordecai is trained in the defensive arts, excelling in martial arts, such as Aikido and Judo, the use of arm-blades, as well a weapon known as the 'grieve edge', blades that run around the base of his boots.

Weakness: Mordecai's divine makeup is excellently defended against elemental or energy based attacks. While it is by no means invincible, the energy that binds his angelic body is like a natural armor against energies. However, in return, physical attacks have a far deadlier effect on him. His body is much more susceptible to physical harm, because the energy of his angelic skin falls away easier to the tangible objects of the solid realm.

Skills: Mordecai has a unique gift that allows him to see in all directions around him, a full 360 degree vision. He is also capable of making his eyes glow, from a gentle illumination to a blinding, massive flash of light that blinds anyone without extreme protection from temporary blindness. Lastly, Mordecai is capable of 'feather-falling', making his body seem lighter than air. While it doesn't grant him flight, it allows him to glide, and his jumps are 'floaty'.

History: Mordecai grew up as a mortal living under the shadow of his father. His father was a proud retired soldier, who was convinced that the only God was that of Man. It was not that his father was a bad man, just misguided, but he was a very strong, patient, and fair role model. Mordecai, in an attempt to make his father proud, attempted at a young age to take on the world, to make it a better place.

At the age of 16, Mordecai Lumos was killed. He was granted salvation by his King, the Good Will, the Shining Light. He came back to earth as a Watcher, a proud group of noble angels who protect the soul of a single human, guiding them throughout their life. Mordecai, however, was eager to make his god, his King proud. He neglected his charge, the human under his keep, and tried to make the entire world a brighter one. Mordecai's human, a boy named Jack, fell to temptation and darkness. Having no guiding light to turn to, a demon offered what Mordecai could not, and Jack was taken.

In an effort to redeem himself, Mordecai forfeit himself in return for the human. The human, however, died in the process, and the demon kept the angel for himself. Feeding on his holy flesh, the demon kept his soul alive. Until one day that the demon hunter Dante rid him of the possessing demon. Now Mordecai was left in limbo, not an angel or a devil, not saved nor cast from his Kingdom.

Not until one fateful day, where he met a demoness. In combat, she defeated him, and in morality she bested him. She showed him the error of his ways, the sins that he had committed, and having accepted and atoned for his failures, his physical body was destroyed. An angel dying again, he was pulled out of limbo and brought to his Kingdom. Now, Mordecai has been granted the status of Archangel, beings who are responsible for the divine connection between the Kingdom and humanity as a whole, where he might serve a better purpose.

He carries her lesson with him in his heart, always. To this day, Mordecai remembers that it took a demon to humble an angel.
