Yes, Lady reads the webcomics like a mad thing. It's eleven-thirty at night, and she doesn't feel like sleeping yet, so she's going to put up links and descriptions for the webcomics she reads. In alphabetical order, no less. Lady really needs to find something better to do with her time.
WARNING: Some of these comics have boyxboy or girlxgirl content. I'll try to remember which they are so I can leave a warning for those who don't like that kind of thing.
Clan of the Cats
Updates: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday
I just recently started reading this again after a REALLY long time, and dayum, but there were a lot of old comics for me to enjoy. So worth it, though. The story of Chelsea Chattam, and the curse that causes her to turn into a *BLEEP* (censored because I don't want to spoil things). Has shapeshifting, saving the world, Wicca, luff, and occasionally things going BOOM.
(Some girlxgirl in one of the storylines.)
Candi
Updates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (or three times a week, at least)
The college hijinks of Candi and her housemates (with assorted others). I love the art in this comic (so many pretty colors!) almost as much as I love the storylines. I mean, flying ferrets? Ultimate win. Has also featured alcomohols, boy troubles, Starbucks, and crazy brothers.
(A little bit of boyxboy.)
Crimson Dark
Updates: Mondays
I'm still not sure what I think of this comic. The art looks really cool, but I'm not sure if I like the story yet. But if you like spaceships, this is a good one. It's about space pirates (or privateers, take your pick), and their struggle to survive.
Dominic Deegan
Updates: Daily
No comic can have more ultimate win than DD. My very first webcomic ever. Usually features drama, sarcasm, alliteration, really bad puns, and magic. Kind of like Piers Anthony books, only much much better. The story of Dominic Deegan (a seer), his cat Spark, his orc-toothed girlfriend Luna, his wacky family (all magical, of course), and much more! Saves the world on a regular basis.
(Occasional boyxboy.)
Fey Winds
Updates: Mondays
Not a very long comic yet, so I'm not sure what my feelings overall are going to be, but so far I'm loving it. Fantasy, featuring foxgirls, curses, and really pretty art. Not really sure where the story is going yet, so no comment there.
Flipside
Updates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Yeah, don't ask about the icon.
Loving this one. Swordfights, magic, jesters. Probably shouldn't be read by the younger crowd, and not always work safe (some tasteful nudity). The story has me at a loss to explain. Just read it yourself.
(Also has girlxgirl.)
Friendly Hostility
Updates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
OMG. For those of you who know Boy Meets Boy, this is a spinoff of it. What can I say about it? When a comic can encompass Venezuela, demon he-nurses, violin-playing douchebags, evil hats, trifflids, and so much more without exploding, it is too amazing not to win. The story of Fox and Collin, and their nutty adventures while they attempt to survive the real world (and possibly pass college).
(Boyxboy is inescapable.)
Girl Genius
Updates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
I just started reading this one, and I'm already hooked. Magic meets machinery in the story of Agatha Heterodyne, the daughter of the famous Heterodyne Boys, who may just end up saving the world, no matter what the world has to say about it!
Mystic Revolution
Updates: Mondays and Fridays
A story about a virtual reality game, the characters that play it, and the shadow powers who control it. There aren't many game comics I can stand. Well, actually there's only one. And it's this one.
Questionable Content
Updates: Daily Monday-Friday
The life of an indie rocker is not easy. Especially when your PC destroys everything it comes into contact with, your roommate is a girl who's really into you but has too many issues to date you, your girlfriend is your roomie's boss, and...well, the list goes on! Just read it. Art sucks in the beginning, but gets way better.
Rainbow Carousel
Updates: Uhm...not sure if there's a schedule
A really cool story, even if I have no idea what it's about yet. Set in an alternate universe with elves living alongside humans. And everyone seems to be named after something edible. Plus, the art is good enough to eat too. ^_^
SkyFall
Updates: Unpredictable, but usually a couple times a week.
Really amazing, though often on hiatus. I don't care. I love this story. About an unlikely group of heroes out to save their fantasy universe by bringing back the gods. (I think. It's been a while.)
(A little boyxboy, but barely noticeable.)
Slightly Damned
Updates: Saturdays
Amazingly hilarious. Rhea dies, and meets Buwaro, the demon. The two of them find their way back to the human world, and hijinks ensue. I'm pretty much in love with this comic, it makes me laugh so much.
spiky-haired dragon, worthless knight
Updates: Tuesday-Friday
Not my favorite in terms of art style, but a good plot. Vincent is a knight with a curse - he is unable to touch any weapon. He can only break the curse by killing a dragon, but when he finds one, he befriends it instead! D'oh.
Sore Thumbs
Updates: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Political commentary galore. I find out more news from reading this comic than from the newspaper. Which is pretty sad, actually. Cecania is forced by her mother to help her brother Fairbanks run his video game store.
Toast
Updates: Whenever
Poor surfer/artist Ichigo's night gets bad when he's mugged on his way home, and worse when he's saved...by a vampire. Not enough pages to really tell where the plot's going, but my Yaoi senses are tingling...
(No explicit boyxboy, but I think there will be in the future.)
Vampirates
Updates: Thursday/Sunday
Okay. Three words: Canadian pirate vampires. Need I say more? Well, I'm going to anyways. Yes, there are really vampires. A few of them hijack a ferry boat to get back at the vampire captain who screwed them over.
(Boyxboy)
And that's all, folks! Read and enjoy.
