“Over here!” shouted a voice he recognized as Lark.
“Please Luz kill him! Look what he did to my face!” it was impossible to mistake that winning voice, it was Bsano, but how had he recover so fast?
“I will make sure that divine punishment falls to those who bring harm to my followers and brothers.” said a voice he didn’t recognize, it was firm and powerful, it must be this Luz they speak of.
Then came a light, one that felt like salvation but then he saw its true face, this was the light of Lucifer, no human could be a divine-murder like this man, Luz.
“I am Radiant field Marshal Luz, I come in the behalf of my kingdom Novosibirsk and my gods the Triumvirate, who granted me this magnificent power of justice.” Luz’s armor was made silver with gold molded into rays of sunshine. A red scarf was wrapped gracefully around his neck. His eyes were cold as ice yet they were beautiful like him, there gold shine to them was mesmeric. If Joaquin could described him as anything he would been an iceberg reflecting a distorted image of happiness clouded by the fog of cruelty. His frozen smile give a chilling sensation, just like his unnatural golden hair.
“Another?” said Karlam.
“Oh thank the gods you came, Luz…I thought I was a goner back there.” said Windvlaag laying in the floor, wings broken and bleeding from his neck.
“Get up Windvlaag we are the immortal elements we are the chosen ones, you muck our title by been defeating by such a weak unholy individual.” Luz cold voice fell over Windvlaag like veil to pure for a sinner, burning his skin with the touch. He then proceeded to spread a set of golden wings, emitting a radiant light. This light immediately dispersed the darkness. Karlam was greatly weakened by this light, and those he took his opportunity.
“Time to run!” he said throwing the mummy like creature at Luz, once it reaches his vicinity it exploded. As the tremendous light was too much to handle
“I should figure this much, coward!” said Lark covering his mouth from the smoke that was coming from the recent explosion.
“He’s getting away!” shouted Bsano, now wearing a black eye patch for his missing right eye.
“Leave them. I want you to retrieve him.” announce Luz to Bsano while pointing at Windvlaag.
“But brother that is collaborating with the enemy. I be put in trailed and then hung from the gallows if I’m too lift a single finger for him!” Bsano try to look as freighting as possible, but Luz was not freighted it all by the sight of his older brother.
“Have you forgotten who I am? I’m the one chosen by the Triumvirate themselves, my will is the will of the gods. As a human Bsano your will is pitiful and disobedient, under my influence you shall become great but only through your will being bend in the form I desire shall you need just power, big brother.”
Bsano did as told and brought Windvlaag back. Windvlaag had multiple injuries, he was bleeding quite heavily from his head, both of his legs and winds were broken, but neither all the pain in the world and suffering was enough for Windvlaag to enter the shock he had, his eyes had rolled over the back of his head and he continuously mumble nonsense to himself. Bsano chuckled the idea of someone escaping his younger brother private armada and being found only to be beating and taken back to further punishment amused him, but in the deeps of his mind he fear Luz as much Windvlaag did. For if someone with power when to convulsion from seen then the real torture was yet to come.
As Karlam was running he saw him, an innocent boy cut in the strings of war, Joaquin. “Damn who calls me to play hero…no other than my stupid conscience.” he said graving Joaquin by the arm and continuing his running. Joaquin was in shock incapable of taking in what had happened, so instead he allowed himself to be taken by who? He didn’t even know this man.
Without much effort he turned to see that Lark’s men were following them, and the big cheese himself was gone. “I got to split!” he start to run but notice he was out off breathing sooner that he expected. He had one good look at his skin, it was dark-blue, he sighed loudly.
“Where I am…” said Joaquin coming back from his shock.
“Can you walk?” he said running with Joaquin in his arms.
“Ya I think so.” responded Joaquin rubbing his eyes.
“Then lets go before they get us.” Karlam turned to see that countless soldiers belong to the White Juggernaut paladin force, were fallowing his trial led by Lark, who mounted an albino horse. “Damn there getting closer by the second.” he carefully placed Joaquin, who without hesitating began running at his side.
“What you’re name boy?” he asked only looking forward.
“Joaquin Claremont.” he said pointing a finger to his chest.
“Karlam Mikolaj Yefimovich Shevchenko. A pleasure to meet you. In other time I shake you’re hand.” he said running as fast as possible.
“Sounds Russian. Say are you a descendent of Ilya Yefimovich Repin? You have much similarities with him,” Joaquin starched his head thinking. “but it doesn’t make nothing…angels, knights and Russians don’t give there kids that many names.” he said well having one good look at the soldiers, each approaching with menacing speed and bloodlust in their eyes. Karlam didn’t seem interested in answering Joaquin’s questions. Just when hope abandon them, an unknown force that resembled a lighting split the land with the power of a meteor; causing the land to rupture while a wall of fire keep the soldiers horses from jumping.
From the other side of the flame wall, Lark muter curses under his breath.
Joaquin looked up to the sky just in time to see a dark silhouette crossing the skies. They both stopped, to look around Joaquin asked the dreaded question.
“Are you human?” he said looking at Karlam’s skin.
“I’ve been a paranormal since birth.” said Karlam passing a hand through his hair, trying desperately the fix the tangled white clump of hair.
“What is that?” he said looking confuse.
“A person born with unique capabilities.” responded Karlam being a little annoyed.
“How do you know, that you were born as one?” wander Joaquin.
