Do teachers know that I'm faking being stupid? That I just don't do stuff because I don't feel like it and I'm bored? Because I don't know why they want me in all the advanced classes (except Science, of course).

I didn't get to take Art classes because none of them can be taken opposite to labs... Mrs. Copperthwaite was about to cry when she couldn't sign my paper when she told me that bit of info... But I guess if I hit the books sophomore and junior years, I can take all the pretty electives when I'm smarter and can take more out of them..

Science class:
Mrs. Towle: "I think you should do Bio Academic. You could get into Honors *motions to paper* but you don't have the..."
Myself: "Drive?" *smiles innocently*
Mrs. Towle: "Exactly."

How right you are, dear Toad.

But Mrs. Ovadia told me that Ms. Sargent was telling her about my historical fiction story and how she was taking pity on my main character (who eventually goes insane and dies). That made my day. biggrin

It was also funny when Mrs. Ovadia asked me which class I wanted to take, I said, "Just the normal one" and she gave me this disgusted, bug-eyed look before circling the AP one. xd

So I guess I'll be trying that test on Wednesday..

Ms. Sargent told me, "There are two kinds of smart people. Those who are content being with people of lesser knowledge, and those that get frustrated by it." Because I always rant in my essays about school to her, I pretty much know which one I'm described as... But she says that if I don't start passing my work in, I'll only be qualified for Academic English II, and I'll be bored out of my mind. sad

Boohoo.

Guess I should be doing the homework I was supposed to pass in today right now..

I want to know what I got on my historical fiction paper so badly! crying

Huh. I have surprising luck when it comes to school. I wonder if this frustrates you all that I don't work but everything always works out...?
