GIVE ME MONEY
Finally. I finished the next section. I am terribly sorry for the wait. I'll type up the next one sooner. I made this one a lot longer than the previous ones, just to make up for it. I hope you enjoy, and thak you for reading.

Syris sighed heavily as he watched Megadeth search the first crypt. Inside were a couple of desks, a pair of shelves, and, of coarse, the ungodly smell that invaded every nook and cranny of that forsaken place. Megadeth scrutinized the first desk with an intensity that Syris found, for lack of a better phrase, creepy as hell. Psycho clumsily flipped through the books.

“Syris!” Psycho called, “C’mere and look at this!” Syris walked over, glad to have something to draw his attention away from Megadeth.

Before Syris could ask what happened, Psycho was rambling on about some book he found. Psycho stopped talking and handed Syris the book. Inside was a small paragraph written in elfin script. It was an incantation.

Syris studied the spell carefully. It was a spell called Ice Storm. Syris took out his spell book and quickly scribbled down the spell.

“Thank you Psycho,” Syris said when he saw Psycho waiting for some detail, “It’s a new spell, it will come in handy.”

“Score!” Megadeth roared, “This is a find!” He flipped a dagger into the air and caught it. He put the dagger into his old dagger’s sheath.

“What did you find?”Syris asked. “It’s called the Dagger of Throwing. It’s a dagger coveted by many thieves. “It’s sure to hit its target when thrown.”

“Well, let’s move on then,” Psycho said impatiently. With Megadeth’s consent, they moved on to the next crypt.

They moved to the next crypt with haste. They moved inside and found only a sarcophagus. As they moved closer to it, the door behind them not only closed, but also became brick and lamented into the wall.

“Dammit!” Syris yelled, “Psycho! Try to break it down!” Psycho ran at full force and threw himself into the wall as hard as his body would allow. He bounced of the wall uselessly and fell to the floor.

“No good,” Psycho muttered as he rubbed his shoulder gingerly, Syris cursed under his breath as he observed the area carefully. Nothing…except for the scarphogus.

“Looks like that’s our only option,” Syris said as he pointed towards the scarphogus. Megadeth did not need a second telling, he was eager to find treasure.

Megadeth tore open the scarphogus’s lid and let it hit the ground with a stony crash.

The sarcophagus was lying in the center of the room on a stone table. Only Megadeth could see inside it. He beckoned for the other two to come and look.

Inside was a dried corpse. It was wrapped in bandages. It’s arms were crossed over it’s chest, but each hand gripped the hilt of a sword. The swords were identical, the blades both pointed towards it’s feet.

“What is that thing?” Psycho asked.

“Doesn’t matter,” Megadeth replied casually as he moved closer to the sarcophagus, “It has goodies and that’s the important thing.”

Megadeth reached into the sarcophagus to grab one of the swords. A swift kick to the face sent the unsuspecting thief staggering backwards.

“You son of a b***h….” Megadeth muttered as he regained his balance, “You gonna pay for that dickhead.” Megadeth drew his dagger and the others followed suite. The corpse rose from the sarcophagus.

A guttural moan oozed from the mummy’s withered lips. It raised it’s dual swords and charged at Megadeth. It moved unlike the clumsy and awkward zombies. It was swift and sure-footed. It’s attacks were precise and deliberate. Megadeth, the quickest in the party, parried or dodged every attack, albeit just barely. The mummy was so quick, that Megadeth could not get in a single attack.

Psycho charged into battle brandishing his sword. He slashed at the mummy, attacking from the rear. All at once, the mummy dodged the blade, blocked an incoming attack from Megadeth, and kicked Psycho in the chest, sending him stumbling backwards.

“That’s it my puppet…” hissed a familiarly dark voice, “slaughter these fools. None can match his speed, you pathetic adventurers. You stand no chance against the Vorpal Whirlwind!” A disturbing cackled echoed through the stone room and slowly faded away.

Syris watched his comrades fight. It was true; they could not match the monster’s speed. Syris stared at the ground as he made some quick calculations. The dirt-paved ground had given Syris an idea.

“Any ideas?” Psycho called, desperately trying to block the mummy’s blades.

“Yeah,” Syris answered slowly, “Keep it busy.”

“As if we have a ******** choice!” Megadeth spat as he narrowly avoided a stab to the gut.

Syris drew his bow and strung up an arrow. He watched the mummy carefully. After a minute, in battle it seemed like an hour, he loosed the first arrow.

The mummy groaned angrily as the arrow hit it’s mark. It gazed down at it’s left foot. The mummy stared stupidly at the arrow embedded in it’s foot. Only the feathers were visible to it because the rest had gone through the foot and into the tightly packed ground.

Syris fired another while it was distracted. The mummy let out another groan as this arrow hit it’s right foot. It tried to move as Psycho swung at it. It’s feet were stuck to the spot and the mummy’s speed was useless. Psycho slashed the “Vorpal Whirlwind’s” chest. Megadeth finished it off with multiple stabs to the face.

Soon, the mummy lay limp on the ground as Syris retrieved his arrows from the defeated mummy. Megadeth kicked the corpse viciously, “How’d ya like that a*****e!”

“Why do you think he called it the Vorpal Whirlwind?” Syris mused aloud.

“I think I know….” Psycho said timidly.

Syris and Megadeth turned to look at him. Not to be mean, but Psycho was simply not a thinker. Thus, Megadeth and Syris were surprised that Psycho might know something, even if they were a bit skeptical.

“Well, out with it Psycho,” Megadeth said slightly amused.

“O.K,” Psycho said, “I heard about these special swords. They act as +2 swords, but they’re much more powerful. You see, every once in a while, while your in battle, the blade will glow red. While it’s glowing, your next attack will sever the head of one of your opponents. I think that’s what these are. Vorpal Blades.”

Psycho picked up one of the swords and began to observe it. Surprisingly, Megadeth didn’t laugh. He even went over and inspected the other sword.

“I…I think he’s actually right,” Megadeth said, “I have heard of this sword before too. The descriptions of these swords seem to match the ones I’ve heard. Good thing the mummy didn’t get lucky.”

“Alright,” Syris said, “Good work. Take your swords and let’s get out of he….” Syris turned around and just remembered something. The door was still gone. They were still trapped in the room.

“s**t…” Syris muttered to himself, “Now what do we do?”
