First day of Ski Trip:
We woke up today at around 7:30 am. We left the house at around 8:30. We hit the slopes of Mount Bachelor around 9:30. We, for lack of a better description, went right into the mouth of a blizzard. There was almost no visibility, and the 'fog' kept freezing to my goggles so that I would have to clean them off every twenty feet or so. It was horrible conditions, but the snow was great. It was snowing so hard that, although we couldn't see, there was fresh powder every time we went down a run.
It was really hard to tell the snow from the sky. All white. Everywhere. People were falling because they thought that they were still moving when they really weren't. My dad ran into a wall (sort of) and my mom almost fell because she couldn't tell where she was going.
I only fell once, which was ok for me. I was going though some moguls and decided to just fall over since I was so tired. I'm right leg dominant, so I put all my weight on that leg, and so it gets really, really tired after a while.
It was a good day all and all thought, so yeah.
Oh, and that reminds me... I gotta teach that boyfriend of mine how to ski and/or snowboard, cause thats I say so.
