I should have seen this coming. I really, really should have. But apparently I'm still thick as bricks, and when Aku made her confession of love earlier I was completely snowballed.
The confession, of course, being towards the Doctor. Of course, she told me, not him, so I'm once again pulled into the middle of...
Oh, who am I kidding? I love being in the middle of things - more interesting that way. Life would just be boring if I didn't spend 98% of it bashing my head against a wall because Aku did something stupid.
Anyway, Aku told me she loved the Doctor today. This was right after she purchased her new eyepatch, which...oh Fod, it's in the shape of a heart. Dx She said it's to send subliminal messages to the Doctor, and one day he's gonna realize it and "ZOMYFOD AKU I LOVE YOU!!!!"
...of course, the Doctor isn't one to scream "ZOMYFOD"-anything, but still. I hope that tub o' strawberry in the ice box - we're gonna need it when she goes rebound. (Honestly, she's been helping me with the match-making - does she not get that the Doc's smitten by Rose?)
