Hello everybody... well, at least everyone who reads my journal. I'm still having shoulder pain, however, the ibuprofin does help a bit. A couple of days ago my boss at Ralph's (that's the name of market I work at) said she wanted to talk to me on wednesday (today). She didn't say what it was about, which left me trying to speculate as to what it could be. Was she going to give me a warning and improve my performance otherwise she will have to write me up, as a precusor to being terminated. Or, she was going to set me up for a the book keeping test that I would have to take and pass if I wanted to be trained in the book keeping dept.
Good news or bad? It wasn't bad news, but it wasn't the good news I hoped for.
She asked if I would be interested in working for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf store that is inside the market. s**t yeah, I wanted to tell her, but since she is my boss and a lady, I censored myself and answered with a calm, but inthusiastic "yes, ma'am. I would be very interested." I just have to go through a week of training and I'm in.
WOOHOOO!
Finally, I'm getting out of the bakery. I like some things about working in the bakery. I've met some really nice people who like to stop by just to say hi. And the past 3 bakery managers I've had were nice to work with. Most of the time.
But the present one I'm working with is a real uber-b***h. I hope I'm really getting out of bakery this time.
