“Your mission is ….. too be body the guards for Temari, Kankuro and Gaara of The Sand” Tsunade finished.
“What?!” Naruto and Sakura haft shouted haft said.
“They have Gaara. They don’t need us.” Sakura pointed out.
“Do you remember that if Gaara falls asleep he will go on a kill rampage?” Shana questions them.
“Yeah so what does that have to do with us?” Naruto asks.
“We have to make sure that doesn’t happen and Akatsuki are after them” Shana says matter-of-factly.
“That’s right” Tsunade said “Oh and Kakashi has already been notified. You all will meet at the North gate at 4:45 AM because they arrive at 5AM.”
“OK so if that’s all I will be going now” Shana says turning around and walking out of the Hokages office.
“Shana, wait up!” Naruto and Sakura (who is dragging Sasuke) run after Shana.
“Where are you going?” Sakura asks.
“To the library” Shana replied
‘Even thought Konoha’s library sucks’ she thought
‘Be nice’ Serenity told Shana in their head.
‘Fine’ she thought as she glared at the ground.
Once they walked into the library, Shana turned to face them and said “You don’t have to follow me”
“We know” Naruto said way too cheerfully.
“Then go away” Shana replied coldly. She turned around again and disappeared between the shelves of books.
“Where did she go?” Sasuke ask looking around.
“Um this way I think” Sakura replied.
“OK let’s go find Shana-Chan!” Naruto declared only to be told to be quite by the librarian.
Shana’s P.O.V.
‘Finally got away from them’ I thought
‘I told you to be nice!’ Serenity reminded me.
I sick out my tough at her in my head
‘And what r u going to do about it’
‘Scream’ she replied smirking.
‘But they annoy me’ I replied unhappily
‘Aren’t you used to it by now?’ Serenity asks me.
‘Oh ya theirs people like them in every village’ I replied sighing to my self.
‘Oh look there! A book on legends and myths of the Star’ she told me and I pick up the book.
‘Ah thanks’ I said ‘oh and here’s a book on legends and myths of Mount. Element’ I pick up the book and find some more like it.
“Shana there you are! We’ve been looking for you! Don’t disappear like that” Sakura yells and get told to be quite by the librarian.
“Who are you? My mother?” I say seething at someone who is acting like my deiced mom.
Naruto hides behind Sakura once that was said.
‘Whoa calm down Shana’ Serenity tells me.
“Shana…sorry…but you just…disappeared…and…” Sakura tried to explain as tears started to flow out of her eyes.
“Just leave me alone. I can take care of myself.” I said putting the books back on the shelve and stormed out of there.
End of Shana’s P.O.V.
“Whoa what’s her problem?” Sasuke asks.
“I don’t know” Naruto replied.
“Sakura are you OK?” Sasuke asked.
Sakura looks up, wipe her eyes, smiles and says “Ya I’m fine”
‘Shana, they were nice to you and you yell at them’ Serenity points out.
‘I know. But I just lost control because she was acting like a mom and we just met I mean come on why do they need to interfere with my life. And I know that I should be use to this but it just seemed that she just portending to be HER’ Shana just spills out in her head as she regains her composer.
‘I thought you mastered controlling or hiding your feelings’ Serenity stated.
‘I have but this caught me by surprise’ Shana emits.
‘I think I’ll wonder around Konoha for a little’ Shana thinks
‘I think that would be a good idea as long as you don’t stumble into HIM’ Serenity points out.
A couple hours later, Shana walks into the park of Konoha. The sun is setting so Shana climes near to the top of the nearest tree which happens to be a willow tree. She lays down on the tree branch stomach down. She just lays there watching the wind move the branches to draw on the water. Out of absolutely nowhere, she pulls out a book and a pen. The book’s spine was black velvet and the cover was midnight blue with a full moon with a star in it with a silver crystal in the middle with smaller stars bordering the edges of the book. Shana starts to draw. The moon and the stars come out. She lay there and drew until it was time to meet Temari, Kankuro and Gaara.
She got up, put the book and pen away and started to walk to the North gate.
