Alone.
Alone always alone
Even in the company of others
I am alone
Alone alone
Longing to have someone
Everyone has someone
But I am alone
All alone
I lay in my bed
I stare at the stars
I know I am totally alone
I welcome all and yet none can connect
And that’s why I am so…
Alone
Gray Defeat
I close my eyes and what do I see
A girl...standing alone in defeat,
Colorless and dead with a monotone expression
She feels too sad to feel anything, even depression
The others around her, full of color and life
Don't see her or hear her, they don't even take the chance
To pull her out, of the gray sea of death
Their words, like balloons float around her now
Trying to lift the girl up off the ground
But her grayness pops them and they fall all around
And she cries alone, in gray defeat
'Can no one help me?' she wonders
'Can no one pull me out?'
Do they bother trying, or go on with their lives..?
To avoid the girl, colorless and alone
To talk about her when she's around
To point and laugh as she falls to the ground
Finally accepting death and defeat
Nobody can help her now,
Nobody can pull her out of her own gray defeat..
Alone always alone
Even in the company of others
I am alone
Alone alone
Longing to have someone
