SPRING CLEANING

Whispering, I acknowledge a shout that blows through my ear.
God is coming down to help clean up house.
It figures.
It's the maid's day off.
And she still hasn't found a way to sweep the blizzard under the carpet.
Maybe, if we contain it, we can stop the winter.
Our basement is full.
If only we can stop the soil from snowing under our feet.
Somebody's at the door.
It's the doctor with some medicine.
It blinds me to what is true and what should be our care to heal a wound that has not been cleansed.
Don't take your time coming down God, it's the maid's day off.
