(talking about monday) since around 4:00pm no one was really around due to work-related. But me and my brother, were at home with both my dogs when i got a call from my mom sayong that there was a very bad weather heading our way. I thought, ' oh, no biggy. its just a thunderstorm.' boy was i ever wrong. sweatdrop then all of a sudden, its starts pouring down like never before. i immediately unplugged our electronics and waited it out...oh yea, my brothers sleeping on the couch at this point. stare the dogs are like freaking out and im finishing up one my projects thats due and when i peer out of the sliding-door, there's gulf-ball-sized (almost that size) hail raining down. I was like, 'aw man, i hope my car doesn't get wrecked.' but as i thought i noticed the wind started to pick up really quick and out of the corner of my eye i saw a huge white cloud close to the ground. I knew instantly that it was a funnel. Sooner or later the power was out, and when my brother woke up i distinctively kept the weather to myself. _ i realized from the wind rotation and it going counter-clockwise that it wasn't going to reach use_ but when i remembered that, i was really worried about some of my classmates that lived over in that area. cry i power didn't come on for at least 48 hours. When i got home later that night (from my job) i noticed that the nieghborhood a mile behind us had power. stressed evil it totally sucked that they had electricity and we didnt! anyway, all my firends were callin me up on my cell-even my parents (one works at VA beach college, the other is in Quonico(Northern VA)- i told them that we were fine and that it didnt' take our house. I felt sorry for my nieghbor who had his side of his house destroyed. well sooner or later the power came back on and i immediately turned on the news and i found out that the tornado that hit nearly 2 1/2 miles away from my house was a catagory 3!!! eek boy was i ever shocked. Luckily God watched out for us and i am grateful that no one was seriously injured or dead. .....well, i gotta go study or draw, or do something..catch yall later!!
