Videogames!
If you know me, you would know that this always eats away the extra time I'm not using, and sometimes a little more, but basically I've been a number of new games I got, being in no particular order: Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Breath of Fire, Bomberman Max Blue Champion, and most recently Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time.
Smashbros: Possibly one of my instant favorite games of all time (having both Sonic and Gardevoir instantly helps), but already I've gotten quite good at the game with all the characters (cept a few), and have started trying online play a bit with some of the people I know. 3nodding
Breath of Fire: I borrowed this classic from a friend back in the days of middle school, but I never finished the game yet still fell in love with the game. It was until this last Sakura-con that I finally was able to get it and start playing again it from the beginning, but surprisingly it's a lot more difficult than I remembered. blaugh Never the less, I've put it down for the time being for some other things at the moment, but I still think that this is a classic worth playing again. xd
Bomberman: 3 words. THIS IS HARD or at least a lot harder than I had imagined for a GBC game, especially since each time I died, it was because of my careless laying of bombs. I've been playing this game for about 7 weeks or so now and I'm still on the second planet (if that is any indicator of how difficult it is).
and finally... Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2: I've been looking forward to this game for some time now, and needless to say I was very pleased with the game, despite there being a less diverse set of pokemon to start of with. In the original game (the one previous to this), I was a kickbutt Machop, but in this game I thought I was going to be a water type, but to my surprise I ended up being a hardy Torchic. Boy was I surprised! Needless to say, after being able to change the main party members, I immediately switched to training up a Ralts and a Machop, with lots of difficulty. So far, they haven't been able to clear this one particular forest or any of the missions I've assigned them, but they have been getting some excellent leveling from it though. Maybe after I finish with school and a couple of the pictures I'm supposed to be doing for other people, I will make a picture or even a comic featuring these two.
School/Art
So if any of you have guessed why I've been so negligent about keeping up with anyone or anything, you can be sure it's this collage class I'm taking. In short, this class is really 3 classes crammed into one as well as 3 teachers teaching the class, but I've been loving the class so much (hating certain parts as well though, mainly the essays and the extremely rigorous reading we're doing). In the photography portion recently, I recently went to a parade/protest to take pictures and document the event for as impromptu assignment. I'm still developing and printing the images for this, so I should have something to show for it soon.
Art, or at least everything else about that i enjoy doing, but continue to neglect about it. I have 2 picture/commissions I really need to get done/start since it's been a while since these good people actually first requested these from me, but I am working on them! ...just at a really slow pace. However, when I'm not doing homework or slaving in front of my computer, I'm actually been dreaming and planning up trying to do a comic/manga with something that actually has a story of sorts, so that can be something to look forwards to someday.
Anime/Manga
Another obsession of mine that I've been really seriously neglecting, but recently I've found an anime which I have been dying to know where the art came from called "I, Me, My Strawberry Eggs". Unfortunately, me trying to describe this anime would not do it any justice (I could, but I really suck at that kind of thing), so I'll leave it to you to find/watch the anime and come up with something yourself.
Sakura-Con
Was awesome! Read my DA journal for more about it.
Gaia
Many of you may have noticed over the past couple of months, but I've been changing my avi numbers of times trying out new looks and such. So don't panic. Or something like that... anyways, with my most recent one here, I'm now up to 5 or so different avis. Can you guess them all?
Uhh... random?
I speak english and can understand and speak Spanish to some degree. I speak Japanese too, but my grammar and such is broken equal to a 4 year old though...
And thats it for now! I suggest you visit The Promised Land if you have nothing better to do, otherwise remember this...
