Sitting on a table, swinging legs and swaying from side to side. Messy pigtails, dark, messy make-up, and demented expression.
"Coin-operated boy sitting on the shelf, he is just a toy--" Gets off table and starts walking forward. Table to taken away in background "--But I turn him on, and he comes to life. Automatic joy. That is why I want. A. Coin-operated boy." Dances to another part of the room.
"Made of plastic, and elastic, he is rugged and long-lasting-- who could ever ever ask for more?" Walks around amongst random people who pass by. "Love without complications galore." Tugs on the shirts of a few boys as they pass by. "Many shapes and weights to choose from-- I will never leave my bedroom-- I will never cry at night again." Pulls one boy out and hugs him. He smiles as if he were trained to be that way towards me. "Wrap my arms around him and pretend."
We start walking with our arms linked. "Coin-operated boy. All the other real ones that I destroy!" Two boys are on each side, we both shoot our fists at them and knock them unconscious, "Cannot hold a candle to my new boy-- and I'll never let him go, and I'll never be alone, and I'll never let him go, and I'll never be alone-- go, and I'll never be alone-- go, and I'll never be alone-- go, and I'll never be alone-- go, and I'll never be alone-- not with my coin-operated boy!"

We both run off when the two unconscious boys wake up. I bend down and look one of them eye-to-eye. While I sing, I help him up and condescend.
"This this bridge was written to make you feel smittener-- with my sad picture of girl getting bitterer-- can you extract me from my plastic fantasy--" Sadly, he shakes his head, "I didn't think so, but I'm still convincable--" He perks up but I turn away and keep singing, "--Will you persist even after I bet you a billion dollars that I'll never love you. And will you persist even after I kiss you goodbye for the last time will you keep on trying..." I turn around, go back and shake his shoulders, "To prove it-- I'm dying!" I let go again. "--To lose it... Im losing..." I start spining in my own insanity, "My confidence--" I turn back and get in his face, stepping forward everytime he steps back, "I want it--

Coin-operated boy." I nod. Everyone just goes off in their own little direction. Everyone is running around in random directions, some doing one thing while others to the other. I merely pass through everyone as if I were telling them what to do, how to act. Some obey while others don't. Finally, my boy comes up and we link arms.

"If I had had a star to wish on for my life, I can't imagine any flesh and blood could be his match!" We glare at people-- guys-- as we pass by. They jump out of our way from fear. "I can even take him in the BATH!" He turns and gives me an overly happy expression. I laugh. People raise their eyebrows at us.

We finally stop to sit on a bench and talk, "Coin-operated boy. He may not be real, experienced with girls, but I know he feels like a boy should feel-- isn't that the point? That is why I want. A. Coin-operated boy," I pull his chin closer as if to kiss him, "With a pretty coin-operated voice. Saying that he loves me," He whispers 'I love you', "that he's thinking of me. Straight up to the point. That is why I want. A. Coin-operated boy." He holds me and we stay like that while people pass by, acting as if we weren't there.
