A girl that lives her life inside her house rarely goes out and spends all the time she can on the computer typing her fantasy stories or watching dramas. A 'low life' is what her sisters and friends call her. She calls her self 'holic'. Holic's real name is Cho but no one calls her by that. They either call her 'low life' or 'emo' but she'll rather be 'holic' because she is a dramaholic etc. Her older sister Nyna thinks that Holic takes her for granted and that she takes her life and everything she has for granted. Holic thinks otherwise and thinks that Nyna is just too conceited. Holic is proud of having Nyna as a sister but she just hates her sometimes, most of the time.
Holic falls in like with a guy at her school but she's not accepting her feelings. She is very shy at school and doesn't talk to him but she found his page on tain.com and so she adds him after 1 hour of deciding to add him or not. She waits anxiously if he accepts or denies her ad after only 10 minutes, he accepted her! She was so happy! After that, she wasn't that afraid to add the other people she knew and start talking to them. They are very surprised on how talkative she was and how quiet she is at school.
