Phoenix Wright is still fairly laid back. He has this way with words that
create a mysterious feeling to nag at you for a good while, and he still
seems to carry that humorous air about him.

Different from before. Phoenix is much more laid back, and very cryptic in the
advice he gives. His moral compass has also suffered since his days of practicing
law. But he still cares deeply about those close to him and is as determined to
find the truth as ever.

picked up many unusual habits he never had before.

Upon spending years in Solitary, he's gained a routine he tends to follow,
leaving the apartments before 6, and going out to work out for two or three
hours. Then going out for a snack almost directly afterwards.
Around nine months into prison, Phoenix picked up an unhealthy habit as
well. He has been smoking ever since his first year in prison, and the habit's
extremely hard for him to break, though he really is trying hard to quit.
Phoenix has a huge tendency to switch from normal speak to prison speak
or prison lingo. Either way, he's still very understandable, just as he has al-
ways been.
Another, and probably his worst habit, yet---is his tendency to start fights.
He's always the one to throw the first punch, because Prison taught him a
few bad lessons. Like that fighting is the answer. Which it's NOT. But Prison's
an idiot who makes more idiots by throwing them in prison. DX Lord. Geez.
His blue hat with the camera pin on it was stolen in prison, and he let his
hair grow long.

Phoenix has many friends and enemies, but he also has a family.
Kaoru Yuuka→This is Phoenix's fiancee. He regrets never being there for the last
twelve years and that led to many incidents taking place while in prison---resulting
in him being moved from the normal cells to Solitary Confinement.
[Spoilers] Phoenix tried to escape---twice, to see Kaoru and his family. Once
around nine months, when he began to smoke, and once more around seven
years. Both times failed, although, he did manage to hide out for a week the
second time.
Nick James Wright→This is Phoenix's biological son. Nick's mother is Kaoru, and
Phoenix was put away for Nick's first eleven years and 3 months of his life. Nick
has only met his dad once. And he hardly recognized him.
Trucy Wright→Phoenix's adopted daughter. For the last twelve years, she has
been living pretty much alone without Phoenix, but he definitely knows who her
little brother is.

"Phoenix" comes as a reference to his uncanny ability to turn around cases which
were almost lost (as the phoenix comes back from the dead). "Wright" is simply
a pun ("Is that right, Mr. Wright?" wink .
Japanese:
"Naruhodou" comes from the Japanese word "naruhodo," which means, "I see" or
"Is that so?" Ryuuichi is simply a name the creator liked (though its use of the
kanji for dragon is played upon in GS3).
