the entrie above seems to have something wrong with it, so i'm changing this one to repost what is one it.. the one above features two old races, i made up awhile ago. Kith and Silth. their data is below. of and since this is a converted journal, ignore the comments.
Kith
that is a kith, one of the more deadly servants of darkness. a wound inflicted by their blade can kil a mortal, and injure and immortal badly. they are created when an evil spirit fuses with a corpse. it can bea corpse of anything, as long as it is strong and had recently died. when there is one, which is not often, the spirits tend to fight over it, so only the strongest get in, except for commen corpses no one really cares about, like an imps. weaker spirits enter those. anyway, once has enter, the power the creature had in life and the power of the spirit also fuse. the sooner the body is entered, the stronger it will be. anyway, as soon as the body has become inhabited, the decay stops. asfor their blades, the blade itself is made in a forge of lava, the mountain seems prefect for that. the hilts are made of someknown metal, but it is very strong. in my time, a blacksmith would pay a lot of money for just one hilt. the blade however, can be used in many ways. i expect i'll be able to tell more about that later. the sword, when cokmplete, gives the Kith some abilitie, probably some are still unknown. since the creature that died could be anything, say a beast, that beast would have no need of a blade. its teeth would do the job. basically, after a spirit enters, the teeth become like a blade. each and every one. plus the creature, or its body anyway, can speak. eahc Kith has the ability to move through shadow, and manipulate it.
Silth
pretty much the opposite of Kith. they can still hurt and stuff, but their swords are more for defense than anythings else. they tend to avoid conflicts and disguise thereselves as humans, or other creatures. if you meet a Silth consider yourself very lucky. for, when sensing and injustice, they leap to the rescue imediatly. there is little that can stop a Silth in full, righteous, fury. their blades, instead of killing, merely weaken the enemy to an inoperable state for a period of time. their blades are made in vats of holy water, which will never turn into steam. as hot as lava the forger of their pure white blades are. they then enter a body only with its former inhabitants permission, unless it was a body of great evil. so the Silth are fewer, though slightly stronger, than the Kith. each can control light, and move through it. the only way to stop a Silth from moving is putting in complete darkness. the main reason Silth are tronger is because, insted of banishing the shreds of soul left, they absorb them, fusing th souls power with theirs.
