when did your eyes begin to look so fake?
well who cares! thank you for waiting this long to show me!

i hope you're as happy as you're pretending becasue now that i see you
i see that you're not even worth a second glance or a second chance

i wasted all this time getting to know the real you
only to find that the real you was never there

...that's so not fair

all my life i've been building walls around me
safe in my own little world where no one has found me

hoping and wishing someone would come and find me
and that's when you came

i put up these walls not to keep people out
but to see who cares enough about me to break them down

and in these walls, my only friend
is the silence that envelopes me

and it is in this silence
that i can hear them loud and clear

screaming on and on.....all alone
