I knew that I was losing you,
The day you said goodbye,
The day you left me lying here,
You left me here to cry.

It hurt to watch you walk away,
To know you didn’t care,
You wouldn’t stop to hold my gaze,
Became an empty stare.

You told me that you loved me,
I thought that it was true,
I never thought you’d lie to me,
Turns out I was a fool.

A fool to think you loved me,
To think you really cared,
