In the halls of Castle Oblivion, Vixal, a young nobody who was being trained as an apprentice for Organization XIII, looked around nervously. He ran down the hallway, sweat dripping down his face like Niagra Falls. By the looks of it, he had been running throughout the castle all day. His black robe seemed like it could barely keep up with his speed. Vixal's bright blue eyes darted from left to right as he ran, his spikey blonde hair waving. He stopped behind a pillar to catch his breath.
"I think I lost her," he said, gasping for air in between each word.
"Hi Vixal!" a cheery sounding voice chimed behind him, scaring Vixal out of his wits.
"Stop doing that, Serox!" Serox was a female apprentice about the same age as him. She only smiled in reply.
"Some of the other apprentices and I are sneaking out tonight for a night on the town. You wanna come?" she asked, her tone unusually happier than usual. Vixal blushed a bit and tried to speek.
"Ug uh munga ba," he said with a crooked smile.
"I'll take that as a yes. See you tonight at 9." Serox said with a smile and a quick turn on her heel, and she walked away. Everything went black.

"Vixal? Vixal? VIXAL! Don't make me go get Vexen again, buddy," a familiar voice said anxiously. Vixal's eyes fluttered open to see his best friends, Xukkai and Finx, two more male apprentices, standing over him. Finx leaned on his crutch and smirked.
"We saw you faint after Serox told you about tonight! YOU LIKE HER!!!" Finx said tauntingly.
"And what was this 'Ug uh munga ba' deal?" Xukkai said with a snicker. Vixal glared at them both as he got to his feet. "I do NOT like her! I only like her as a friend!" he lied. He secretly did like her.
"Suuuuuuure," Xukkai and Finx said in a sing song tone. The both looked at eachother and went into hystarics. Vixal rolled his eyes and started walking down the hall with them. He had a feeling that tonight was going to be perfect.
