Garp was a wonderful book. I loved it. It's one of my favorites.

but there's no point anymore. i gave him every possible reason to hate me. plus, common sense told me to stop a loooooooooong time ago (common sense and the people who actually know him well enough to find him annoying). but. life doesn't freaking work that way. every mention of him is like a little stab to the back of my head, where I imagine one's ego resides.
and it still doesn't change the fact that he's too young for me.

oh. mebbe they still like each other? i know a couple like that. the guy asked her out three days before the end of camp (they were a couple before that, he's just slow) but she broke up with him on the last day 'cause long-distance relationships are hard. but they still held hands and stuff for the reunion.

Who knows? I never figured out why they broke up though. Alex butt in in the middle of my convo with Chris, so I never figured it out lol.

this has absolutely nothing to do with the long conversation that i for some reason never bothered to move from my journal, but one time i navigated away from your profile and the screen froze for a bit ('cause my computer is slow) during a very... interesting frame in the thing with the girl beating up the guy. his face was squished up and misaligned, and also, one eye was huge and the other was closed.

I feel so out of it.

i think i'll just type in normal font size here that i still like ben even though it's obvious he'll never like me back, just because every time i realize another person knows, it feels like a weight taken off my shoulders due to the fact that i no longer have to hide a crush from one of his friend-type-peoples, and it makes me recklessly happy for no reason, even now in the middle of a miserable sort of summer that's been saved purely by the internet. but i'll remove the normal fontiness when i regain common sense and remember i wrote it here later. wouldn't want thermy to stumble across it.
