Well, I've been keeping up with the news about the shooting which left two people dead and some others in critical condition. The reason for the shooting: apparently the guy was frustrated with being jobless so he decided he'd go and shoot some liberals. I'd hope this guy would get a shotgun blast to the gut, but sadly, that won't be happening in this reality.
I would say its depressing to know that people would go out and murder someone just because they have a different opinion, but humanity has always been like that, probably since the first thought. OK, it still is kind of depressing, well actually its very depressing...
I couldn't help but read the comments to the article. Some people, while condemning the actual act of murder, were apathetic to the victims merely because they were "liberals." This is sort of a "wtf" moment. How can you condemn a murderer who shot people in a church, but then just say, "Well, I don't feel sorry for those liberals." People like that are on the same level as this psychopath.
